Behind the sophomoric slapstick act, lies an under appreciated actor / comic striving to perform thought provoking shows that minimize the cultural and lingual gap between the parents and their kids. That is what makes Eslam Shams, better known as E. Anthony Shams among his American fans, one of the fastest rising artists around.

Having been featured in the Headlines on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno has made the Iranian born Shams, raised in America, more popular among the Iranians and the Americans or as Shams refers to them, The Iranicans. When asked about his show and its subject matter, Shams replied, "I talk about what everyone thinks about BUT they are afraid of saying it in public cuz’ they might offend some people. Let's get one thing straight, You cannot offend people. people choose to be offended.” He continued, "I honestly believe laughter is essential to maintain your youth. You can't stop laughing because you get older. You get old because you stop laughing."

Currently performing the One man play "Kotak Moment", the Hollywood based actor captivates his audience with improvisational and acting skills, endless energy and physical comedy. His semi auto biographical one man play will take you thru the journey of life and it will most likely change your views about love, life and relationships. To describe or perhaps understand it better, you have to see it to believe it.
