you know this was a really good topic thanks for posting it it was like a wakeup call for me
i noticed howmany events i have missed out on doing somthing good
like i had the opertunity to go with hillel of my school to new orleans and help out and didnt go and now i regrete it
or volunteer work with fertarnities and etc

but here is one thing i am proud of doing

i used to work at this luxury retairment house as a waiter, i was very unorganized and didn't fallow directions and they badly wanted to fire me because i kept pointing out there "injustices" towered many of the other employees who had kids yet getting paid(minimum wage) the same as me lol and was always in the face of management and would tell theme you pass decisions from your insulated office with no regards to what is going on with the employees and many times i would say the things the employese wanted to say but couldnt becuase of job security
and when ever i took food to the rooms of those who were didnt come down i would try to joke around and tell them somthing intresting about the world or ask theme about there past i dono i liked hearing old storys and took comfort in the fact they liked talking to someone since there own family members never really visited them. (thank g-d for our close nit family oriented culture/community) some of these people were millionaris

i think one of the reason they didnt fire me was becuse the residents liked me
or maybe becuse i said i would picket out side, wow good times .
