I am an American born and raised in CA, I have met the greatest Persian woman ever and I want to learn more about the Persian culture and language to impress her. I am going to start learning Pushtu tomorrow, (she speaks that better that English), so that will help to read some of the posts on here as well it seems like there is a lot of knowledge on this forum and i will try and absorb some if it.

hi bjorn and welcome, i noticed you said pushtu, which is a language spoken in afghanistan, i assume she is afghani rather than persian, albeit she may speak persian, but pushtu is her native tongue, eitherway as long as you are happy with her, that's all that matters

i recommend you read a bit of hafez

Here are some language to impress her...Akh joon, jiggar, ghorbonet beram, fadat besham, khoshgel, naz, nokaretam, chakeretam, kocheketam..try those for now.

Okay on a serious note, thats not true! Persian girls are very loving and caring, a little high maintenance but not gold diggers, even the ones in Iran, persian guys in Iran use girls way more than girls take from guys! I've had so much gifts from persian girls, ive bought so little, feel bit guilty bout it but hey..!!
