What do you think about the contribution - both positive and negative - of Azaris to Iran & Iranians, especially in the last 100 years ? (Objective and respectful exchange of opinions , no emotional or disrespectful comments)

I have similar feelings when I get emotional, but we have to be careful not to generalize. Based on historical evidence, I believe a lot of violence and crimes were committed by Turks against Iran in the past centuries. Sometimes, I even think the Islamic government in Iran is a pan-Turkist government hiding under Shia Islam (which was forced on many Iranians by Shia Turks).

However, many of our Azarbaijani brothers are very patriotic and contributed great things to Iran, and even accepted and promoted Persian culture. They are not Turks, but have been turned into Turks by force by Mongols and Oghuz invaders.

I like non-violent people ... and Persian people in Iran have been non-violent, and suffered tremendous violence from Mongols and Turks. But Azaris are not really Turks, only some believe to be the sons of Genghiz Khan.

I dont like Iranian Turks, so i have no comment about this
