    Lover's quarrel

    Have you ever argued with your lover and then stop and thought, this is stupid and started to laugh. Or a day later looked back and thought what the hell was that all about? And we can never give up until proven right and think well that was not worth it... Write you favorite lover's quarrel here.

    Well I think everyone has, but one of my favorite quarrels was between my mom and dad.. these 2 could argue (not nasty way) about anything from what time to wake up to how to die...lol, and then after they were done (my mom always won), they all be lovey dovey.

    Here is one of their argument which I thought about the other day and started laughing out loud. I have to write it in English so the members who can't read parsi can understand, you have to translate this in parsi in your own mind to get a good laugh. This is typical:

    Dad: Which tie should I wear with this suit (he has 2 in hands).
    Mom: I don't know, you are the one wearing it, you choose. (be man cheh)
    Dad: Looking carefully at the ties and my Mom, chooses one and starts to wear it.
    Mom: Why did you pick that one? It doesn't look good with that suit.
    Dad: I asked you and you said pick your own, ok I will pick the other one.
    Dad: Proceeds to put the other tie on.
    Mom: Jahnam, har chei delet mikhad bepossh.. mesleh dalghka shodi ba on kerevatet...(you look like a clown with that one)
    Dad: Ok. then I won't wear tie, happy now. (delet khonak shood?)
    Mom: You know what (aslan midonee chieh), I am going to pick a tie from your closet and that is the one you are going to wear, otherwise I am not going.
    Dad: But a minute ago you said it was my choice, I am the one who is wearing it.
    Mom: It is not my fault you have no taste..(Taghseer man neist to be saleghaee)...
    Mom: Picks a tie and ties it for dad and that is that.

    Off they go, laughing about something I can not hear and he opens the door for her and I am thinking didn't they just had a fight over a stupid tie???

    I would be true, for there are those who trust me;
    I would be pure, for there are those who care;
    I would be strong, for there is much to suffer;
    I would be brave, for there is much to dare.
    I would be friend of all—the foe—the friendless;
    I would be giving and forget the gift;
    I would be humble, for I know my weakness;
    I would look up and laugh—and love—and lift.

        Actually my dad was tall and handsome and he looked good in just about anything. But... you look great without a tie...

                    Yep, european iranians are orange, american iranians have real tans! Although on the upside we don't get tasered for being iranian
