no i dont think so...i think its just has to do with the personality ....if the guy is smart...he wil accept your culture and holidays and your beliefs....that goes the same for the girl....cuz i dated two african-american guys...and I had no problem and I've had a couple of mexican guys too....it just has to do with the personality!!

i would love to marry someone from another culture so as to bring understanding and have my kids be more open . . . but, honestly, (although i hate to admit it) i dont think it would ever work. i dont mean this as an excuse but i am just too persian to marry someone who isnt. the person would miss a whole part of my personality, the BIGGEST part of who i am. Being persian is a part of who i am just as my family is. I cannot be described without being labeled as persian. THAT IS WHO I AM! I CAN NEVER CHANGE THAT! It would be incredibly hard if the person does not understand farsi because much of the beauty of the Iranian culture is in the language. i can try to explain it to him, but he will never understand and appreciate it in the same way that i do.

but a part of me believes that you dont have much control in who you fall in love with. if i fall in love with someone who isnt persian, then i will still marry him (because i will love him). i just think that the likelihood of me falling in love with someone who isnt persian is very small because we wont have a lot in common

but then again you never know . . .
