personally I think the only thing that makes sense and that will work is to have a relaxed committment. In other words, you should proceed, but not have your hopes up or ask for/make too serious a committment. You don't want to set yourself up for too much of an expectation then become dissappointment. The only question is if that is something that makes sense to you as well.

I have this problem. I am still in love with my ex-boyfriend and I cant forget him... I wish I could stop having feelings for him. He broke up with me a month ago. But ever since our break-up hes been being nicer to me than usual and keeps sending me messages asking about how I am and stuff(which he never did during the end of our relationship), and even sent me a message flirting with me. I dont know if he is just being friendly and Im taking it the wrong way or if he still likes me. One of my friends said that if I really like him I should go talk to him about him and that I shouldnt let him go that easily. I am not sure if I should listen to her or not. What do you guys think?
