اسماعيل مرچنت توليد کننده سينما و از بنيانگذاران شرکت 'مرچنت آيوری' در سن 68 سالگی درگذشته است.
وی به همراه شريک خلاق خود جيمز آيوری، فيلم های محبوبی چون پايان هوارد و اتاقی با يک منظره و باز مانده روز را ساخت.
دفتر آقای مرچنت اعلام کرد وی بعد از ظهر چهارشنبه در بيمارستانی در لندن درگذشت.
علت مرگ وی معلوم نيست، اما يک سخنگو گفت که اين توليدکننده متولد هند طی يک سال گذشته از ناراحتی های معده رنج می برد.
شرکت مرچنت آيوری از زمان آغاز همکاری معروف خود با روت پراور جابوالا، فيلمنامه نويس متولد آلمان در سال 1961، در مجموع برنده شش جايزه اسکار شد.
لرد پوتنام، فيلمساز، اسماعيل مرچنت را يک "استعداد خارق العاده" توصيف کرد.
وی گفت: "يک شخصيت عمده و يک توليدکننده منحصر به فرد از دست رفته است - کسی که استقلال را در صنعت فيلمسازی تعريف کرد."

it is in 6 eps and called "Revelations"
Good vs Evil kind of movie.. quite nice and worth the watch.
