Shahrzad
Shahrzad was born and raised in Iran. At the age of 12 she moved to Europe and lived in France and England for 1 year before relocating to Los Angeles and starting High school in LA.
She was active in choir and drama during high school years and remained active in the performing arts while attending UCLA to get her bachelor's in Sociology.
In 1994 she formed the first all girl persian band called "Silhouette" and made one successful cd with them.
After leaving the band, she produced and released her debut solo album called "Our Story" in 2000.
In 2004 her second solo album "1001 Nights" was released by Avang Records.
In the past five years Shahrzad has started a family and now has 2 little girls.
She has also finished a new album called "To" which contains songs in Persian, French and English written and produced by herself and producer-song-writer Gimapiero Scuderi.
The songs are now available on Itunes on the album called "To" which means "You".
Presently Shahrzad is working on a new album with her old collaborator Farzin Farhadi and plans to release that album by the end of 2009.
Shahrzad plans to have live performances soon.
