    About M R Shah (R.I.P) [His Life By Pics]

    In November of 1977, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, Shah of Iran, and the Shahbanou Farah Diba, visited the United States. President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter hosted the 2-day visit with a welcoming ceremony. During the visit, Mr. Carter and the Shah of Iran inspected the troops. The Shah of Iran and the Shahbanou of Iran also present the US president with a gift, which was a tapestry of President George Washington.

    The tapestry was is hand-knotted wool carpet, with an ornate and traditional Persian border, a presidential seal and the image of George Washington in the center. The work took two years to complete and was created by the famous artists of Isfahan. The tapestry is said to contain 120-160 knots per square centimeter. Finally, the heads of state participated in a formal state Dinner on the evening of their arrival.

            We were not under his umbrella, but we are now. Thanks to IR and their sooooooooooooooooooo intelligent foreign policy and love of our nation and humanity as whole.

            Now.. we are not just the toy of U.S. but also Russia and China and several other countries that have brought division and devastation to our culture and people.

            This is good time for me to say... pas marg bar to ke gofti marg bar shah.
            I would be true, for there are those who trust me;
            I would be pure, for there are those who care;
            I would be strong, for there is much to suffer;
            I would be brave, for there is much to dare.
            I would be friend of all—the foe—the friendless;
            I would be giving and forget the gift;
            I would be humble, for I know my weakness;
            I would look up and laugh—and love—and lift.
