sure, peace is possible. you have to look at what peace entails. peace entails respecting eachother and as long as both countries can respect eachother, then peace can ensue. look at what starts wars: lack of respect. when one country decides to go bomb another, there is a lack of respect not only for the government but also for the people of the country being bombed.

I wanted to vote in the poll, but i dont like either of the options.

israel in no way threatens anything of iran not even economy
also if one has to have a friend's back Iran is not even really that close with the arabs

hah, what doesnt israel threaten? you dont need to share borders with a country to be threatened by it. Afghanistan and Iraq dont share borders with the US but the US felt threatened enough to blow them to smitherines. like i said, peace necessitates respect. countries seem to be getting respect by instilling fear in the other country. whoever has the bigger guns and kills more gains more respect. that is the saddest part of all that is going on. its not a matter of who is right and who is wrong now, its all just fear. as long as there is fear, there will be no peace.

i think israel can be a threat to any country it wants to be a thread to. remember, israel currently has the backing of the US, and when you have a country like the US backing you, then you can threaten anyone you want. if you think israel has a millitary far superior to Iran's, then its only fair for iran to get nukes to be prepared just in case, right? who knows, maybe israel will get bored in lebanon and then decide its time to go to iran (just like the US getting bored with Afghanistan and then going to Iraq). It appears that israelis dont like islam or muslims. iran is a muslim country, one of the only strong ones left since afghanistan and iraq were blown to bits. so its a likely target.
