well ..hmm... so I have the power to change myself..... u mean to say that being neutral, open minded and possessing acceptance quality makes someone a good person with acceptable moral behavior?Originally posted by Dokhtar Bandari View PostSimply that consciousness and energy create the nature of reality...your belief system will automatically direct your actions.
As I mentioned below, if your conscious mind does not have the reference point for a particular behaviour, it will reject it and it will argue with you and will win.
So...what I am saying is that for "the world to change man must change"..Morality is a belief system.
A good example will be Dali Lama...for him to be compassionate is as natural as for you to be Indian...why? because his consciousness and belief system.
If one has to make an effort to be a moral person all the time, then they are not really moral people just trying to cover their immoral self. Its like when someone says stay positive...hog wash..."I am try to think positive" usually means I am trying to cover up my negative thoughts. Got it?????
it gives us a question which is moral and immoral?

Aummmm...yes and no. When you become a free thinker with free will and are open minded, you will naturally start questioning things/event and by the virtue of questioning yourself you will automatically arrive at the right answer for "you"..if you were to questions things in the context of every one's good and not just yourself..then the proper answer will come which would be good for all. So basically it would have to do with your intent and desires.Originally posted by indian_blues View Postwell ..hmm... so I have the power to change myself..... u mean to say that being neutral, open minded and possessing acceptance quality makes someone a good person with acceptable moral behavior?

I firmly believe that there is no blanket answer to what morality is...in my own case morality is doing what is good for the other guy or good of all. Another word if my consciousness is toward the good of all...even if I came in a situation that would compel me to kill someone...the whole universe will rearrange itself to make that action a justified action which ultimately is for good of all. A bit uncanny but its true.(see quantum physics)

Exactly. I always believed in this for my whole life. If thoughts are good then its action and its result will also be good.Originally posted by Dokhtar Bandari View PostAnother word if my consciousness is toward the good of all...even if I came in a situation that would compel me to kill someone...the whole universe will rearrange itself to make that action a justified action which ultimately is for good of all.
