طوفان گونو در عمان 32 كشته برجاي گذاشت


بر اساس آمار رسمي كه امروز جمعه منتشر شده، بر اثر طوفان گونو در عمان 32 نفر كشته و 30 نفر ديگر مفقود شده*اند.



به نقل از شبكه تلويزيوني العربيه، سخنگوي پليس عمان اعلام كرد، براثر طوفان گونو كه از روز چهارشنبه سواحل عمان را در نورديد، 32 نفر كشته و 30 نفر هم ناپديد شدند.
آمار قبلي از كشته شدن 25 نفر و مفقود شدن 26نفر در اين حادثه حكايت داشت.

يك منبع در روابط عمومي پليس نيز گفت تلاش براي پيدا كردن ساير مفقودين اين حادثه همچنان ادامه دارد.

طوفان گونو همراه با بارانهاي سيل آسا در 30 سال گذشته شديدترين نوع خود در منطقه خليج فارس بود و خسارات زيادي نيز به سواحل عمان وارد كرد.

بر اثر اين توفان، درخت*ها و تابلوهاي راهنما در خيابان هاي مسقط پايتخت عمان از جاي خود كنده و برخي از پل*ها نيز ويران شدند.

در اين گزارش، شمار كشته شدگان طوفان گونو در ايران سه كشته و 50 زخمي اعلام شده است.

طوفان گونو راههاي زميني و هوايي 4 شهر را قطع كرده است


رئيس سازمان امداد و نجات هلال احمر اعلام كرد: طوفان گونو راههاي زميني 4 شهر سرباز،* نيك شهر، ايرانشهر در سيستان و بلوچستان و بندرجاسك در هرمزگان را قطع كرده است و شرايط جوي اجازه پرواز هلي كوپترهاي امدادي را به اين مناطق نمي*دهد.


منصور آقانصير* افزود: هلال احمر جمهوري اسلامي ايران از زمان شروع طوفان گونو اقدامات لازم را براي امدادرساني به حادثه ديدگان آغاز كرد و اكنون 4 هلي كوپتر امدادي هلال احمر در منطقه هستند كه دو فروند آنها در بندر عباس، يك فروند در كرمان و يك فروند در يزد مستقر است اما شرايط جوي و طوفان فعلا اجازه پرواز به اين هلي*كوپترها را نمي*دهد.

وي افزود:*در زمان حاضر راههاي ارتباطي زميني اين 4 شهر و يك منطقه روستايي در جنوب منوجان در استان كرمان كاملا بسته است و امكان ارتباط هوايي با اين مناطق نيز وجود ندارد اما امكانات و نيروهاي امدادي و مواد غذايي در خود شهرها وجود دارد و مسئولان محلي تا زمان رسيدن امداد از بيرون كمك رساني به طوفان زدگان را پيگيري مي*كنند.

طوفان حاره*اي گونو بار ديگر با سرعت 200 كيلومتر در ساعت جاسك را در نورديد.



طوفان كه از ساعت 14 ظهر ديروز آغاز شده، خسارت*هاي بيشتري نسبت به طوفان قبلي در اين شهرستان به دنبال داشته است.

بر اساس اين گزارش، قطع درختان، سقوط تيرهاي برق، جاري شدن سيلاب* و آبگرفتگي محلات از ديگر خسارت*هاي اين طوفان بوده است ولي هيچ گونه تلفات جاني تاكنون مخابره نشده است.

به دليل بارش بيش از حد باران و وجود سيلاب*هاي متعدد، امكان امداد رساني به روستاهاي اين شهرستان به هيچ وجه امكان پذير نيست.

روستاهاي گوگسر و ليردس، در محاصره كامل سيل قرار دارند و تردد نيروهاي امدادگر به هيچ وجه ميسر نيست.

با توجه به روند موجود، دامنه مشكلات مردم از جمله تهيه مواد غذايي بيشتر مي*شود كه در اين راستا ستاد بحران همچنان به فعاليت خود به طور شبانه روزي ادامه داده و بررسي راهكارها براي كمك رساني به مردم اين منطقه همچنان ادامه دارد.

طوفان گونو راه 50 روستاي جنوب كرمان را مسدود كرد


معاون اورژانس كشور گفت: طوفان گونو و بارندگي، راه 50 روستاي جنوب استان كرمان را كاملا مسدود كرده است و حدود 25 هزار نفر ساكنان اين منطقه نيازمند اسكان، آب و غذاي مناسب هستند.


رضا دهقان*بور افزود: آخرين اخبار طوفان گونو حاكي از آن است كه امداد رساني به ساكنان چهابهار، كنارك و طوفان زدگان در استان هرمزگان انجام شده است و مشكل خاصي در اين مناطق وجود ندارد اما بارندگي*هاي اخير حدود 50 روستا را در جنوب استان كرمان مسدود كرده است كه ساكنان آن نيازمند امدادرساني هستند.

وي گفت: اين روستاها در منطقه قلعه پنج در جنوب كرمان و جيرفت و در مجاورت ايرانشهر و نيك شهر در استان سيستان و بلوچستان و شمال منطقه بشاگرد در استان هرمزگان قرار دارند كه در زمان حاضر راه ارتباطي آنها قطع شده است و مسئولان محلي امداد*رسان و بهداشتي در حال ارزيابي شرايط منطقه و اعزام تيمهاي امدادرسان به اين منطقه هستند.

دهقان*بور افزود: اورژانس كشور نيز 11 دستگاه آمبولانس را به همراه تيمهاي بهداشتي و درماني به اين منطقه اعزام كرده است و يك تيم ارزياب نيز از تهران با هلي كوپتر به اين منطقه اعزام مي*شود ضمن اينكه سه تيم از هلال احمر نيز با امكانات لازم براي امدادرساني به اين طوفان زدگان به منطقه اعزام شده*اند.

رئيس ستاد بحران اورژانس كشور اضافه كرد:* اين روستاها در مناطقي قرار دارند كه در حالت عادي هم دسترسي به آنها مشكل است و جاده مناسبي ندارند، بيشتر ساكنان اين منطقه نيز عشايري هستند كه به صورت كلوني هاي كوچك زندگي مي*كنند، آخرين اخبار رسيده حاكي از آن است كه هنوز بيماري يا مشكل بهداشتي خاصي در منطقه وجود ندارد و طوفان زدگان اكنون بيشتر به آب و غذاي سالم و اسكان مناسب نياز دارند.

Dubai - Cyclone Gonu left Oman and Iran, where it killed at least 35 people in both countries and caused devastation, and swept into the Strait of Hormuz, a major oil shipping route on Friday, though its power was waning.

Iranian state television said the hurricane left Iran in the afternoon and was heading towards Hormuz, through which a fifth of world oil supplies pass.

An Iranian official said the hurricane had weakened and its "impact will be completely gone", he told the official ISNA news agency.

The Omani news agency ONA said at least 32 people had been killed and 30 were missing. Three people were reported killed in Iran on Thursday and nine were missing.


The Omani official news agency said winds from Gonu, now downgraded to a Category One hurricane, were moderate and sea waves were about two metres high.

Officials said the hurricane damaged main roads and bridges connecting the eastern provinces with the capital Muscat and caused floods and landslides across all regions.

In Muscat's centre, streets were turned into turbulent rivers, trees uprooted and power lines cut. Cars were left piled on top of each other, stuck in rubble and mud.

Omani police said rescue teams, using helicopters, searched for missing people and evacuated residents from valleys near Muscat. The Omani official news agency said at least 32 people had been killed.

One witness said he had to take his children to the rooftop of his three-storey house in Muscat to flee the rising water.

In Iran, people within 300 metres of the coast in Hormozgan province had been evacuated, and at least 300 villages were completely cut off, Iran state television said.

State media said roads and houses in Iran's southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan had been damaged and many coastal areas were cut off by flooding.

Further north to Oman's east coast, the United Arab Emirates' port of Fujairah, one of the world's largest ship refuelling centres, said 11 sailors were rescued after their boat sank in regional Omani waters on Wednesday.

Port Director Moussa Murad said there were 10 sailors missing from the same boat. The rescued sailors were nine Indians, a Sudanese and one Eritrean.

The port reopened on Thursday after it closed on Wednesday.

Oman's weather centre, which has been keeping records since 1890, says Gonu could be the strongest storm to reach Oman's coast since 1977.

Whereas the 1977 storm took an inland trajectory toward rural areas, Gonu moved along Oman's heavily-populated coast, sweeping its main cities, industrial areas and ports.

The country's main airport, Al Seeb, reopened after three days of closure, and Omani airlines resumed flights to Dubai.

Gonu peaked as a maximum-force Category Five hurricane on Tuesday and faded to a Category One hurricane on Wednesday. Apart from the 32 dead, at least 30 people were missing, Omani news agency said.

Oman's only 650 000 barrel per day oil terminal Minal al Fahal resumed operations after a three-day closure. Oman carried out tests on pipelines in the terminal before it resumed operations.

Petroleum Development Oman said on Thursday that operations and facilities had escaped damage.

PDO, a majority state-owned firm, produces most of Oman's crude. PDO expects its output to decline by around 20 000 bpd this year to between 560 000 and 570 000.

The storm had raised fears of a disruption to exports from the Middle East, which pumps over a quarter of the world's oil, pushing prices to around $71 a barrel on Thursday.

The main liquefied natural gas terminal at Sur, which was badly hit, was not operating either, a shipper said. Sur terminal handles 10 million tonnes per year of such gas.

Sohar refinery and port reopened and these facilities were working as well as before the storm, the company said.

Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki and Oman's State Minister for Foreign Affairs Yusuf Bin Alavi bin Abdullah exchanged views over the phone on the recent cyclone in Oman and latest regional developments.

Mottaki expressed sympathy with the bereaved families of the cyclone victims, the Omani nation and government, announcing the Islamic Republic of Iran's full readiness for any kind of possible assistance.

Bin Alavi, too, expressing sympathy with the bereaved families of the Iranian victims of Cyclone Gonu, the Iranian nation and government, thanked Iran for offering assistance to his country's natural disaster victims.

The two sides also reviewed the latest regional developments during the phone talk, initiated by the Iranian FM.
