اتحاديه فوتبال اروپا (يوفا) اعلام كرد در مورد پنالتي بحث برانگيزي كه موجب پيروزي دو بر يك روسيه بر انگليس در ديدار مسابقات مقدماتي فوتبال جام ملتهاي اروپا شد، تحقيق نخواهد كرد.

به گزارش خبرگزاري*ها از شهر نيون سوييس، در ديدار چهارشنبه شب در ورزشگاه "لوژنيكي" مسكو، درحاليكه انگليس يك بر صفر از روسيه جلو بود، " لوييس مدينا كانتالخو" داور اسپانيايي مسابقه پس از خطاي "وين روني" روي "كنستانتين زيريانف" در دقيقه ،۶۹يك پنالتي به نفع روسيه گرفت.

تصاوير تلويزيوني حكايت از آن دارد كه اين خطا در بيرون محوطه جريمه رخ داده و پنالتي نبود.

استيو مك كلارن سرمربي انگليس پس از اين ديدار،از تصميم داور به عنوان يك "فضاحت مطلق" ياد كرد.

يوفا روز پنجشنبه اعلام كرد كه تصميم*گيري در مورد پنالتي " تصميم واقعي" داور بوده و حاصل تلاش بازيكن براي فريب دادن داور نبود.

اتحاديه فوتبال اروپا (يوفا) در مورد خطر انتشار بليت جعلي رقابتهاي يورو ۲۰۰۸(جام ملتهاي اروپا) و تورهاي مسافرتي به علاقه*مندان هشدار داد.

به*گزارش خبرگزاري فرانسه، يك دادگاه محلي در مونيخ، فعاليت يك شركت ارايه*دهنده بليت و تور مسافرتي ويژه يورو ۲۰۰۸در اتريش و سوييس را متوقف كرد.

در پي اين اتفاق يوفا درباره فروش و حراج بليت و تور مسابقات در اينترنت ابراز نگراني كرد.

"جاني اينفنتينو" معاون دبيركل يوفا و مدير حقوقي اين اتحاديه، اظهارداشت: ما دلايلي داريم كه نشان مي*دهد هزاران قطعه بليت جعلي و تورهاي مختلف از سوي شركت*هاي غيرقانوني در اينترنت به فروش گذاشته شده در حاليكه اين بليتها اصلا وجود ندارند.

وي افزود: هواداران نبايد از مراجع تاييد نشده بليت تهيه كنند.

اينفنتينو از مردم خواست موارد مشكوك را به يوفا اطلاع دهند. IMG شركتي است كه امتياز انحصاري فروش بليت و تورهاي مسافرتي را براي رقابتهاي ژوئن ، ۲۰۰۸دراختيار دارد.

شنبه 17 نوامبر، در ادامه مسابقات مرحله مقدماتی جام ملتهای اروپا، در گروه یک تیم فوتبال لهستان در خاک خود، با به ثمر رساندن دو گل دقایقی پیش و پس از نیمه بازی، بلژیک را شکست داد تا برای اولین بار به مرحله نهایی این مسابقات راه پیدا کند.

لهستان هر دو گل خود را در ضد حمله به ثمر رساند و بلژیک عملا تهدیدی برای میزبان ایجاد نکرد.

در همین گروه پرتغال 1-0 ارمنستان را شکست داد تا برای صعود، روز چهارشنبه در پورتو، تنها به کسب یک امتیاز مقابل فنلاند نیاز داشته باشد.

اما در آن روز کار برای پرتغال ساده نخواهد بود، زیرا فنلاند شنبه شب دو بر یک آذربایجان را شکست داد تا به سه امتیازی پرتغال برسد و اگر بتواند پرتغال را شکست دهد، ممکن است صعود کند.

اما اگر این پیروزی برای فنلاند رخ دهد، ممکن است راه برای صعود صربستان هموار شود که برف شنبه شب در بلگراد، مسابقه این تیم در برابر قزاقستان را به تعویق انداخت.

در گروه دو، در استادیوم همپدن پارک شهر گلاسکو، اسکاتلند که برای صعود به مرحله نهایی اولین تورنمنت عمده در 10 سال اخیر به پیروزی مقابل ایتالیا نیاز داشت، شروعی بد داشت و تونی در دقیقه دوم گل اول ایتالیا را وارد دروازه میزبان کرد.

اسکاتلند در ضربات آزاد و کرنر خطرناک عمل می کرد و چند بار دروازه ایتالیا را مورد تهدید قرار داد.

در نهایت هرچند میزبان در دقیقه 65، دفع ناقص توپ از سوی جیانلوئیجی بوفون، دروازه بان ایتالیا را به گل مساوی تبدیل کرد، اما در دقیقه 91، کریستیانو پانوچی، با سر ضربه آزاد پیرلو را درون دروازه اسکاتلند جای داد تا نه تنها ایتالیا در صدر گروه قرار گرفته باشد و اسکاتلند حذف شده باشد، بلکه فرانسه هم بطور اتوماتیک در مکان دوم گروه قرار گیرد و صعود کند.

پیروزی ترکیه در مه

در گروه سه که رقابت برای تعیین تیم دوم صعود کننده در جریان است، در اسلو پایتخت نروژ، ترکیه (تیم سوم گروه پیش از مسابقه)، نروژ (تیم دوم پیش از مسابقه) را دو بر یک شکست داد تا یک امتیاز بالاتر از این تیم در رتبه دوم قرار گیرد.

نروژ که از زمان جام ملتهای اروپا در سال 2000 نتوانسته به مرحله نهایی هیچ تورنمنت عمده ای راه یابد، می توانست با پیروزی مقابل ترکیه صعود خود را قطعی کند و در دقیقه 12 هم گل اول مسابقه را به ثمر رساند.

اما ترکیه که در زمین مه گرفته اسلو نبض بازی را در دست داشت، ابتدا توسط امره در دقیقه 31 و سپس با گل نهت قهوه*چی در دقیقه 59 نروژ را شکست داد.

با این وجود هنوز هر دو تیم امکان صعود دارند. در روز چهارشنبه 21 نوامبر، ترکیه باید در خانه بوسنی هرزگوین را شکست دهد و نروژ باید در مالت، میزبان را مغلوب کند و به انتظار ناکامی ترکیه بنشیند.

اسرائیل در لحظه آخر دست انگلستان را در لبه پرتگاه گرفت

در گروه پنج، در شرایطی که روسیه می توانست با پیروزی در تل آویو مقابل اسرائیل، انگلستان را حذف کند و خود به سادگی به مرحله نهایی برسد، مقابل اسرائیل دو بر یک شکست خورد، تا تنها در صورت شکست انگلستان مقابل کرواسی در روز چهارشنبه به هدف خود برسد.

اسرائیل بازی را مسلط آغاز کرد و در دقیقه 10 به گل دست یافت.

روسیه که نمی توانست از خط دفاعی اسرائیل عبور کند، در دقیقه 30 دست به تغییر ترکیب زد اما تا دقیقه 61 تلاشهای روسیه به نتیجه نرسید.

پس از گل مساوی، روسیه جریان بازی را در دست داشت و در دقیقه 90 تیر دروازه اسرائیل را نیز هدف قرار داد.

اما تنها یک دقیقه بعد، فرار عمر گولان، مهاجم تازه به میدان آمده اسرائیل، خود را از فشار مدافعان روسیه آزاد کرد و موقعیت تک به تک با دروازه بان را به گل تبدیل ساخت.

با پیروزی اسرائیل همچنین صعود کرواسی نیز، علی رغم شکست خانگی دو بر صفر مقابل مقدونیه قطعی شد.

اگر انگلستان در روز چهارشنبه در استادیوم ویمبلی برابر کرواسی حتی به یک تساوی دست یابد، روسیه از راهیابی به دور نهایی باز خواهد ماند.

در دیگر مسابقه ها هم اسپانیا به پیروزی 3-0 مقابل سوئد به مرحله نهایی رسید و هلند هم با پیروزی 1-0 برابر لوکزامبورگ صعود خود به مرحله نهایی را قطعی ساخت.

پیش از این کشورهای جمهوری چک، آلمان، رومانی و یونان به مرحله نهایی صعود کرده بودند.

جام ملتهای اروپا در تابستان سال 2008، به میزبانی مشترک اتریش و سویس برگزار خواهد شد.

Italian soccer went from tears to cheers in just a week.

Christian Panucci scored on a header in second-half injury time to give Italy a 2-1 victory over Scotland on Saturday night, a result that qualified both the Azzurri and France for next year's European Championship.

Attached to every Italian player's white jersey was a black armband in memory of the 26-year-old Lazio fan shot killed by a police officer last weekend at a highway rest stop.

"It is our duty to dedicate the victory to Gabriele Sandri," forward Luca Toni said.

There were outbreaks of fan violence after last weekend's death, and some games in Italy were postponed. Azzurri coach Roberto Donadoni said Italian soccer should pay attention to Scotland's Tartan Army, which was magnanimous in defeat.

"The Scottish fans showed how to behave and get behind a team in a stadium," Donadoni said. "Their correctness on and off the pitch has given us all something we can learn from."

Toni scored in 68 seconds in for Italy, which beat France in last year's World Cup final, but Scotland tied the score on Barry Ferguson's goal in the 65th.

Italy (8-1-2) leads Group B with 26 points with one game remaining and is one point ahead of France (8-2-1). The top two nations in each of the seven groups join co-hosts Austria and Switzerland at next June's tournament.

"This is a close-knit team," Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro said. "When it knows it has to win, it goes onto the field as world champions."

Scotland (8-4) completed its schedule with 24 points.

"We didn't deserve to lose that game. We battered the Italians in the second half and they were dead men walking at the end," Scotland coach Alex McLeish said.

Italy went ahead early when Gianluca Zambrotta passed to an unmarked Antonia Di Natale in the penalty area. Di Natale swiveled and passed to Toni, who scored his 13th international goal.

Ferguson scored after goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon saved Lee McCulloch's shot following James McFadden's free kick. Panucci then beat Scottish goalkeeper Craig Gordon in for the go-ahead goal.

Scotland was angry with Spanish referee Manuel Mejuto Gonzalez when it didn't get a penalty kick in the 16th minute. Zambrotta appeared to use his upper arm to block shot by McCulloch.

"After all the hard work we've been absolutely robbed by the referee," McLeish said. "I think he was shocking."

As Dmitry Sychev's 90th-minute drive headed toward the goal, it appeared England would be virtually eliminated from European Championship qualifying.

Then the ball bounced off a post and Omer Golan scored in injury time, giving Israel a 2-1 victory over Russia on Saturday night that could allow the England to join next summer's 16-nation field.

All the English have to do is tie or beat Croatia on Wednesday at Wembley. And Croatia has little incentive to play all out, having clinched a berth because of Israel's victory.

"We have been given another chance to qualify, and that has to motivate every player on Wednesday evening," England midfielder Steven Gerrard said. "If we don't get there it will be so frustrating, and we have to make sure we have the right mentality on Wednesday."

Croatia (8-1-2) clinched a berth despite a 2-0 loss at Macedonia and leads Group E with 26 points, followed by England (7-2-2) with 23. Russia (6-2-3) is third with 21 but England has the tiebreaker because of a better goal difference in splitting its two games against the Russians.

Russia, which had put itself in control of gaining a berth with a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over England in Moscow last month, could have virtually eliminated the English with a victory over Israel but now must win at last-place Andorra on Wednesday and hope the English lose.

Elyaniv Barda gave Israel the lead in 10th minute, but Diniyar Bilyaletdinov tied it in the 61st.

"Of course we are very, very disappointed," Russia coach Guus Hiddink said. "We were close. We were the team who was dominating the game."

The English enter Wednesday's game missing Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen and John Terry because of injuries and Rio Ferdinand due to a suspension.

"It will be difficult, but I am convinced we will get the result we need," England coach Steve McClaren said. "I always believed it would come down to the Croatia game and, thankfully, it has."

England has the wealthiest soccer league in the world, with matches screened across the globe and business tycoons from the United States, Russia and Asia lining up to own the clubs.

So why can't England put 11 Englishmen on the field to succeed on the international level?

Steve McClaren became the latest coach to pay the price Thursday, getting fired after England's 3-2 loss at home to Croatia meant the team failed to qualify for the 2008 European Championship.

While the likes of World Cup champion Italy, Germany, Spain, France the Netherlands and Portugal will be out to try to take the title away from Greece, England's stars -- including David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen -- will have to watch the games on TV.

The Football Association now has plenty of time to search for a coach who can lift the nation credited with establishing the modern game to the same level.

Just one World Cup triumph on home soil back in 1966 isn't much of a return for one of the high-profile soccer nations. Coaches such as Bobby Robson, Kevin Keegan, Glenn Hoddle and Sven-Goran Eriksson couldn't even get the team to a championship final.

McClaren fared far worse: It's the first time England has failed to qualify for a major championship since the 1994 World Cup, and first failure to reach the Euros since 1984.

So just what is eating at English soccer?

Perhaps the fact that foreigners outnumber English players 2-1 in Premier League starting lineups.

Arsenal regularly fields lineups without a single Englishman. The Gunners have finished in the top four every season for over a decade, and lead the league this season.

Manchester United, a nine-time Premier League winner in the past 15 seasons, sometimes has up to five Englishmen in the lineup but often has only two. Chelsea and Liverpool rarely have more than three Englishmen. These four clubs are the only ones which regularly win titles or reach finals.

Thanks to the revenues gained from enormous TV contracts, Premier League clubs can pay huge salaries. That has helped attract big-name stars from Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Portugal and France.

Manchester United and Liverpool are owned by American investors and Chelsea by a Russian. Arsenal is the target of a possible Russian takeover.

The laws of the expanding European Union are another factor. The EU sees soccer players as employees who have the right to travel freely from country to country without the need for contracts. The influx of hundreds of overseas stars to English soccer means that young English talent gets little chance to shine.

The FA, whose role it is to administer the game in England as well as find a coach capable of winning titles, doesn't seem to know what the solution is.

"Everyone keeps saying that there aren't enough quality England players. Whether there are or whether there aren't is just conjecture," Premier League chairman Dave Richards said Thursday when the FA announced McClaren's departure.

"The Premier League can't shoulder the responsibility always for the national team. The clubs are very successful and, if you look around the clubs and the players that are there to be picked from, there's a substantial amount."

Another problem is that none of the most successful coaches in the league are English.

The English coaches don't have the tactical flair to compete with Arsenal's Arsene Wenger (French), Manchester United's Alex Ferguson (Scottish), Liverpool's Rafa Benitez (Spanish) and Chelsea's Avram Grant (Israeli), who took over from Jose Mourinho (Portuguese).

While these coaches lead the title-chasing teams, the Englishmen are floundering with the likes of Wigan, Birmingham and Bolton, all near the bottom of the standings. A glance at the current Premier League standings shows that only one coach in the top nine teams is English, and that's veteran Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp.

England certainly has some talented players. Along with Beckham, Rooney and Owen are central defenders John Terry and Rio Ferdinand and goal-scoring midfielders Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard.

But England can't find a reliable goalkeeper.

Scott Carson's blunder in failing to hold onto a weak, long-range Croatian shot on Wednesday was a reminder of what happened when England faced Croatia in an earlier game. Paul Robinson also looked foolish when he tried to clear a back pass from teammate Gary Neville, the ball hit a divot and he missed it completely. He could only turn to watch the ball roll into his net.

Even long-serving David Seaman is remembered more for the ball sailing over his head into the net than for his saves, and David "Calamity" James is renowned for conceding goals after wildly racing off of his line.

Some critics of the current team also believe there are too many inflated egos within the wealthy squad of players that prevent them from playing as a team.

"I tend to think there are too many egos in there. I look at the England setup and they don't look a happy bunch for sure. The body language sometimes isn't great," said Roy Keane, the former Manchester United and Ireland captain who is now manager of Sunderland.

"I don't think that international football is that important to a lot to these players nowadays. Club football has definitely taken over especially to the top players who are involved in Champions League football. The egos are definitely a problem, particularly with the English players."

The biggest ego problem of all might be with English soccer itself.

Many of the people associated with the team -- players, coaches, officials, fans -- seem to assume that England, as the so-called founder of the modern game, has some kind of right to win titles almost without kicking a ball.

After only 18 games in charge, McClaren knows that's not true.

So will his successor.

EURO Ch.Football 2008

France and Italy will battle with the Netherlands and Romania in the toughest group in the competition as the draw for EURO 2008 was released on Sunday.

The Dutch were the top seed in Group C, with defending World Cup champions Italy and France joining them along with Romania. This represents the toughest of the four groups in next summer's tournament in Austria and Switzerland.

Group A favorites will be Portugal and the Czech Republic, and they will be joined by co-hosts Switzerland as well as Turkey. Portugal advanced to the final of EURO 2004, and after reaching the semifinals of the 2006 World Cup, are poised to take home a trophy from a major competition.

Austria, who is serving as a co-host along with Switzerland, will have plenty of work to do if they want to get out of the group stage in Group B. The Austrians will have to deal with one of the favorites in the competition, Germany, as well as Croatia, who eliminated England, and Poland.

Group D contains the defending European champions in Greece, but they will have to deal with Spain, Sweden and Russia. Spain finished qualifying as one of the hottest teams in Europe and will be favored to win the group, while Sweden and Greece look to battle for the second spot. Russia was fortunate to qualify after losing to Israel in the final week, but Croatia handed them a spot by beating England, and they now have much to prove.

UEFA president Michel Platini calls Euro 2008 the toughest competition in world football and Sunday's draw for the finals is likely to bear him out.

Three of the four top seeds for next year's European championship are co-hosts Austria and Switzerland -- two of the weaker nations of the 16 teams in the draw -- and champions Greece.

That has left the Netherlands, the fourth and final top seeded team, facing what could be a much tougher group phase than other nations seeded below them.

The Dutch could, for example, be given a nightmare group phase featuring matches against world champions Italy from pot two, Germany or Spain from pot three and France, who are down in pot four despite having reached the World Cup final last year.

"Wherever the teams are placed it will be an interesting draw because it is certainly the world's most difficult international competition," Platini said.

Germany coach Joachim Loew said he was not too concerned about getting a difficult group.

"It can be an advantage," Loew told reporters. "Getting a tough group can set you up for the tournament."

Eight title winners will be in Sunday's draw, with Denmark the only previous champions not to have qualified.

England are the other notable absentees.

Poland and Austria are the only two countries taking part in the tournament for the first time.

The draw is due to take place at the end of a 52-minute show, starting at 11 a.m. British time and being broadcast to 138 countries.

Euro 2008 takes place from June 7 to 29 with matches in Geneva, Berne, Basel, Zurich, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Klagenfurt and Vienna.

در مرحله نهایی مسابقات جام ملتهای اروپا در سال 2008، ایتالیا قهرمان جام جهانی با هلند، فرانسه و رومانی همگروه شد.
قرعه کشی بر اساس نحوه صعود از مرحله مقدماتی انجام شده است و ایتالیا که با فرانسه در این مرحله هم همگروه بود و در فینال جام جهانی هم مقابل این تیم قرار گرفته بود، در آخرین بازی گروه 3 نیز بار دیگر با فرانسه روبرو خواهد شد.

رومانی، دیگر تیم این گروه نیز در مرحله مقدماتی با هلند هم گروه بود و بالاتر از این تیم به مرحله نهایی صعود کرد.

در این مسابقات که تابستان سال آینده میلادی به میزبانی مشترک سویس و اتریش برگزار خواهد شد، تنها دو تیم از هر گروه به مرحله یک چهارم نهایی صعود می کنند.

در دیگر گروه ها سویس در بازی افتتاحیه که روز هفتم ژوئن در شهر بازل (Basle) سویس برگزار می شود روبروی جمهوری چک قرار خواهد گرفت.

یونان، مدافع عنوان قهرمانی هم در گروه 4 با سوئد، اسپانیا و روسیه مسابقه خواهد داد.

قرعه کشی در مراسمی در شهر لوسرن سویس برگزار شد که در این مراسم چندین نفر از برندگان پیشین جام ملتهای اروپا، از جمله فرانس بکن*بائر، میشل پلاتینی، مارکو فن*باستن و یورگن کلینزمن حضور داشتند.
