Werder Bremen kept themselves in the race for the Bundesliga title with a resounding win at Hertha Berlin on Sunday.

After Schalke and Stuttgart won their games on Saturday, the ball was in Bremen's and they did not let the pressure affect them thanks to a hat trick by Markus Rosenberg.

Rosenberg scored the first after 19 minutes and a red card for Berlin defender Josip Simunic 10 minutes before the half made life easier for Thomas Schaaf's men.

Rosenberg made it 2-0 five minutes into the second half and completed his trifecta in the 81st minute.

Diego also scored for the winners while Gilberto scored Hertha's lone goal.

The game was marred by an ugly incident in the 35th minute when Simunic went in dangerously high on Daniel Jensen with his foot raised, and he caught the Danish midfielder on the head.

Referee Herbert Fandel did not hesitate in showing the Croatia international the red card, while Jensen was carried from the field with a nasty-looking head injury

The win keeps Bremen just two points behind league leaders Schalke, and one back of Stuttgart for second place.

In Sunday's other match, Bayer Leverkusen fell behind Nurnberg in their quest to qualify for the UEFA Cup on Sunday, losing 2-1 at home to Arminia Bielefeld.

Artur Wichniarek put the visitors ahead in the 19th minute and Leverkusen answered 11 minutes later on a goal by Sergej Barbarez.

Jonas Kamper struck the winner for Bielefeld, a 30-yard screamer, with seven minutes left.

Leverkusen is sliding down the standings and has now lost four of its last five games, dropping behind Nurnberg on goal difference as they battle for the final UEFA Cup spot.

Bielefeld is heading in the opposite direction having won three straight. Sunday's victory should stave off any lingering relegation worries as Bielefeld now has a six-point advantage over Alemannia Aachen.

تيم فوتبال هانوفر در حالي كه 90 دقيقه وحيد هاشميان را در اختيار داشت در خانه آرمينيا بيله فلد با نتيجه 3 بر يك شكست خورد.

هيات رييسه باشگاه بايرن مونيخ آلمان ، سرمايه*گذاري هنگفت براي ساختن يك تيم فوتبال جديد را براي كسب دوباره قدرت از دست رفته خود در اين كشور و تبديل شدن به يك تيم مطرح اروپايي، تصويب كرد.

به گزارش خبرگزاري اسوشيتدپرس از مونيخ، كادر مربيگري و هيات رييسه*باشگاه بايرن مونيخ روز دوشنبه پشت درهاي بسته براي گفت و گو در مورد برنامه*هاي فصل جديد تشكيل جلسه دادند.

"فرانتس بكن باوئر" رييس اين باشگاه گفت: هيات رييسه بازيكناني را كه بايد به خدمت بگيريم ، نام بردند و همگي با جذب آنان كه بهترين راه براي موفقيت بايرن است، موافقت كرديم.

بايرن مونيخ پس ازعنوان قهرماني مسابقات دو سال گذشته بوندسليگا، اين فصل را بدون هيچ عنوان پايان خواهد داد.

اين تيم درمسابقات مرحله دوم حذفي جام باشگاه*هاي اروپا نيز حذف شد اما در مسابقات فصل آينده جام يوفا شركت خواهد كرد.

بكن*باوئر بعد از اين نشست دو ساعته، اظهار داشت: بايد سرمايه*گذاري هنگفتي داشته باشيم.

Stuttgart were crowned champions of Germany on Saturday as they won their final game of the season, 2-1, at home to Energie Cottbus.

Stuttgart had played the role of chasers most of the season but ended their season with eight consecutive wins while the teams above them ran out of steam.

They took the leadership from Schalke last weekend and held their nerve on Saturday to complete the job.

An early goal from Sergiu Radu had put Cottbus ahead but Thomas Hitzlsperger replied quickly.

Sami Khedira then struck the title-winning goal in the second-half, rendering Schalke's 2-1 win over Arminia Bielefeld futile.

Stuttgart coach Armin Veh, who was almost sacked last summer, said:

"We played passionate football all season. Cottbus gave everything they could and didn't have anything to lose and really made things tough for us. "But it was important for us to play our game."

Gelsen***chen-based Schalke have acquired an unwanted reputation for choking in sight of the title and once again they must settle for second best.

Early goals from Lincoln and Halil Altintop ensured they kept their part of the bargain with Radim Kucera striking late for Bielefeld.

News of Cottbus scoring fuelled hopes of another twist but Stuttgart's eighth consecutive win left Schalke short again although a place in next year's Champions League provides some consolation.

Werder Bremen ended a Bundesliga season that promised much but in the end delivered little with a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg, whose coach Klaus Augenthaler ended his spell in charge on a losing note.

Two goals from substitute Markus Rosenberg sealed the win for Bremen, whose title bid ended last week while Augenthaler's departure was confirmed after the game.

At the other end of the table, Mainz and Alemannia Aachen's relegation fate was sealed even though it had already looked inevitable with Wolfsburg's far superior goal difference making any escape all but impossible.

Mainz and Aachen join the already doomed Borussia Monchengladbach in the second division.

Mainz ended with a 5-2 defeat at the hands of outgoing German champions Bayern Munich. Roque Santa Cruz netted the first in the 30th minute with the retiring Mehmet Scholl and Mark van Bommel giving the home side a 3-0 advantage at the break.

Chadli Amri closed the gap 10 minutes into the second half, but Ali Karimi restored the three-goal advantage soon after.

Claudio Pizarro made it five in the 74th minute and Markus Feulner replied again for Mainz two minutes later to complete the final 5-2 scoreline.

An already sore Aachen will not feel any better after their Bundesliga stay ended with another spanking, 4-0 at the hands of Hamburg with Ivica Olic and Juan Pablo Sorin both grabbing a brace.

Hertha Berlin ended a disappointing Bundesliga season on a positive note after Marko Pantelic's late goal earned them a 2-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt.

With nothing but pride at stake for either team, the match had looked to be heading for a draw when Albert Streit cancelled out Kevin Boateng's opener for Hertha.

Already relegated Borussia Monchengladbach tasted defeat again with Christoph Dabrowski and Dariusz Wosz earning Bochum a 2-0 win.

Bayer Leverkusen ensured Borussia Dortmund ended their disappointing season on a low with a 2-1 victory that sees their opponents drop to ninth.

Goals from Stefan Kiessling and Simon Rolfes in the space of nine minutes put Leverkusen in charge but a late strike by Ebi Smolarek proved a mere consolation for Dortmund.

Nurnberg will have to qualify for the UEFA Cup through the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) despite a convincing 3-0 win at Hannover, but second-half goals from Marek Mintal, Marco Engelhardt and Ivica Banovic were enough to ensure the Nurembergers ended their Bundesliga season on a high.

نايب رئيس باشگاه فوتبال بايرن مونيخ خبر از انتقال لوكا توني، عضو باشگاه فيورنتينا به تيم آلماني داد.


به نقل از سايت اخبار ورزش* آلمان، كارل هاينس رومينيگه اظهار داشت: اين بازيكن در ازاي 5/5 ميليون يورو در سال به بايرن پيوسته است.

روميينگه گفت: قرارداد توني با بايرن تا سال 2011 خواهد بود. اين بازيكن با بايرن به توافق رسيده است.

مرد شماره دو بايرن افزود: قرار داد توني تا تاريخ سي ام ژوئن سال 2011 تنظيم خواهد شد. وي قرار است در تاريخ هشتم ژوئن، جهت انجام معاينات پزشكي به مونيخ بيايد تا بعد از آن به شكل رسمي معرفي شود.

وي افزود: آنچه تيم آلماني به عنوان مبلغ قرارداد براي توني در نظر گرفته، *رقمي است كه در سطح بوندس ليگا سابقه نداشته است.

وي با چند پيشنهاد از جمله مربيگري منچسترسيتي روبرو بود؛ اما وقتي با اصرار و پا فشاري ولفسبورگ مواجه شد، شرايطش را براي همكاري اعلام كرد كه مورد توجه اين باشگاه واقع شد.

از جمله خواسته هاي اين مربي، مسئوليت مديريت تيم بود تا وي بتواند به شكل مستقيم بر نقل و انتقالات نظارت داشته باشد.

باشگاه هامبورگ آلمان باعقد قراردادي ، محمد زيدان بازيكن مصري تبار تيم ماينس آلمان را به خدمت گرفت.

به*گزارش روز پنجشنبه ايرنا بقل ازسايت الكوره، اين مهاجم ۲۵ساله روز چهارشنبه قراردادي را با باشگاه هامبورگ امضا كرد به موجب آن وي در ازاي دريافت ۵ميليون يورو بمدت ۴سال در تيم فوتبال اين باشگاه توپ خواهد زد.

محمد زيدان كه در سال ۲۰۰۶به مبلغ ۲/۵ميليون يورو به ماينس منتقل شده بود در فصل گذشته بوندسليگاي آلمان بازي*هاي خوبي به نمايش گذاشت وبا به ثمر رساندن ۱۳گل در ۱۵مسابقه نقش مهمي در نگه داشتن تيم ماينس در رقابتهاي دسته يك بوندسليگا ايفا كرد.

Free spending Bayern Munich completed the signing of France midfielder Franck Ribery from Olympique Marseille on Thursday after agreeing a fee that could rise to 30 million euros ($40.50 million).

Ribery, 24, passed a medical in Munich on Thursday before signing a four-year contract with the 20-times German champions on the same day they presented Italian striker Luca Toni.

"After a difficult season we're lucky to be able to sign two such world class players," Bayern manager Uli Hoeness told reporters in Munich.

Ribery will wear the number seven shirt, while Toni will take the number nine, Hoeness added.

Bayern will have to pay a 26 million euro transfer fee and then an additional 4 million if the German club qualify for the Champions League at the end of next season, French sources close to the matter said.

It takes Bayern's spending for the new season to around 60 million euros as they rebuild after finishing only fourth in the Bundesliga, missing out on a place in the Champions League.

As well as the World Cup winner Toni (11 million euros), Bayern have signed Germany left-back Marcell Jansen (10 million), Argentine midfielder Jose Ernesto Sosa (10 million), Germany forward Jan Schlaudraff (one million) and Turkish midfielder Hamit Altintop (free).

TOUGH COMPETITION

Adding Ribery to the squad is quite a coup for Bayern, after other leading European clubs, including Arsenal and Real Madrid, had also expressed an interest in him.

Ribery joined Marseille in 2005. One of the revelations of last year's World Cup, he has played 18 matches for France, scoring twice.

"We have helped Franck to get where he is today and we are not really happy to let him go," Olympique Marseille chairman Pape Diouf told the club's Web site (www.om.net).

"It's a good financial operation for the club, which proves Marseille can adapt to a market that is not easy."

Ribery may not be the last signing at Bayern before the new season. The Bavarians also want to bring in Miroslav Klose, although they may have to wait until 2008, when his contract is up, if they cannot agree a fee for the Germany striker with his current club, Werder Bremen.

The signing of Ribery has been financed by the sale of England midfielder Owen Hargreaves to Manchester United for a reported fee of 25 million euros.

Claudio Pizarro has left to join Chelsea on a free transfer, Hasan Salihamidzic is joining Juventus and Ali Karimi has been told he can leave.

اين بازيكن بعد از كسب توافق با سرخ پوشان مونيخي اظهار داشت: دوران همكاري*ام با تيم ملي برزيل به پايان رسيده است. بعد از اين تمام توانم را براي خدمت به بايرن صرف مي كنم.

A former Bundesliga coach claimed up to half of German soccer players used stimulants in the past.

Peter Neururer said he saw players using the stimulant captagon, an amphetamine-like medication, while he was in charge of second division Schalke in the 1989-90 season.

"I know that captagon was taken before. Many players were crazy about it," Neururer said in Wednesday editions of Sport-Bild magazine. "It was known and practiced all over. Up to 50 percent took it. And not only in the second division."

The German soccer federation said it wanted more details.

"We've asked Mr. Neururer for names and examples," spokesman Harald Stenger said.

Neururer, who is no longer coaching, worked with many German teams in the first and second division during his career. He said the stimulant had obvious effects on the players.

"The eyes are different. The player doesn't get tired and tends to overreact on the field," he told the magazine. "It was completely crazy what was happening."

Neururer said other stimulants, such as ephedrine, also were used.

"Suddenly, everyone had asthma so that they could take it," he said.

Regular drug testing in Bundesliga began in 1988. Two players from each team are randomly picked after each game to give urine samples.

Since 1995, 15 players from the top two divisions have tested positive for various drugs.

پس از اعتراف تعداي از دوچرخه*سواران آلماني به استفاده از ماده غير مجاز "اپو" يا همان "اريتروپويتين" در دهه ، ۱۹۹۰دوپينگ به يك موضوع داغ در ورزش اين كشور تبديل شده به طوريكه دولت يك كميته ويژه براي رسيدگي به اين مسئله تشكيل داده است.

با وجود اين كروگر كه در حال حاضر سرمربي تيم "ساربروكن " است به مجله ورزشي بيلد گفت: وقتي ۱۸ساله بودم از كپتاگون استفاده كردم. اين ماده تاثير زيادي روي من نداشت اما يك روز بعد خسته شدم و بعدا وقتي فهميدم اين ماده چيست، ديگر از آن استفاده نكردم.

وي افزود: در اوايل دوران فوتبالم از سال ۱۹۷۶تا ۱۹۸۰وقتي در عضويت تيم آرمينيا هانوفر قرار داشتم، يك يا دو بازيكن را مي*شناختم كه درست قبل از مسابقات مهم، از اين ماده استفاده مي*كردند.

Bayern Munich signed striker Miroslav Klose from Bundesliga rivals Werder Bremen on Tuesday, taking their close-season spending spree to around 70 million euros ($94.22 million).

Klose, top scorer at last year's World Cup finals in Germany, will take part in his first training session as a Bayern player on Friday, the club said in a statement.


The 29-year-old German international joins for an undisclosed fee estimated to be around 10.0 million euros after Werder agreed to sell him with a year left on his contract.

Klose is Bayern's eighth major signing after they finished fourth last season, missing out on a place in the Champions League.

The other new arrivals are Luca Toni, Franck Ribery, Ze Roberto, Jose Ernesto Sosa, Marcell Jansen, Jan Schlaudraff and Hamit Altintop.

Bayern spent around 60 million euros to bring in those first seven players.

While details of the deal with Werder were not disclosed, the club had said they were prepared to pay around 10 million euros for Klose, or wait until 2008 to sign him on a free transfer.

"It was a fair solution for both sides," Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told the club's Web site (www.fcbayern.de) after the deal was announced.

The move to the Allianz Arena means Klose will line up with his German international colleague Lukas Podolski.

The two Polish-born players made up a formidable partnership for Germany at the World Cup.

Klose, who had scored five goals as Germany finished runners-up at the 2002 World Cup, added another five in 2006 to finish as the tournament's top scorer. Podolski scored three.

به نقل از سايت گل، ميروسلاو كلوزه كه به تازگي از تيم فوتبال وردربرمن جدا شده و به تيم بايرن مونيخ پيوسته است، روز گذشته در ديداري دوستانه برابر سائوپائولو موفق شد اولين گل خود را براي مردان باواريا به ثمر رسانده و در پيروزي 2 بر يك تيمش نقش مهمي را ايفا كند.

اين ديدار دوستانه به مناسبت جشن دهمين سالروز الحاق هنگ كنگ به چين برگزار شد و در پايان نماينده آلمان به برتري رسيد.

Werder Bremen midfielder Torsten Frings has claimed he is glad to see the back of Miroslav Klose after reigniting a feud which threatened to overshadow recent Germany matches.

Klose's form slumped when he was first linked with a move to Bayern Munich in April.

At the end of the season, Frings said Klose should make the move because he was no longer wanted at Bremen.

The pair settled their differences after being selected in the Germany team which beat San Marino and Slovakia last month. Now Klose has switched to Bayern, Frings has again hit out at him.

"Miro said he wanted to move to one of the best five clubs in Europe, and now he has ended up in Munich," said Frings. "But it was the right step because if he had stayed, there would have been problems.

"He would not have concentrated on Werder any more and you cannot keep it a secret for too long that you cannot be bothered any more."

Frings is looking forward to seeing Klose at the Weser Stadium again on August 18 - although they will be heading into rival dressing rooms as Bremen face Bayern in the second match of the new Bundesliga season.

"Our fans will whistle him," said Frings. "He has done too much wrong in Bremen."

Frings is expecting a friendlier atmosphere in the dressing room now Klose has moved.

He said: "We were playing against each other, but that is now over. We were too influenced by external disturbances, but that will not happen again."

France midfielder Franck Ribery inspired Bayern Munich to a 2-0 victory over Bundesliga champions VfB Stuttgart on Wednesday and a spot in the final of Germany's pre-season League Cup.

Ribery, who joined Bayern in a Bundesliga record 25 million euro ($34.5 million) transfer in the close season, put them ahead with a 20-metre blast into the top left corner in the eighth minute and set up Sandro Wagner for the second in the 66th.
