PAMPLONA, Javad Nekounam´s knee recovery is evoluating well according to Dr.Ulrich Boenisch. The Osasuna star successfully passed all the physical tests done this morning in Germany.



The defensive midfielder has been on the sidelines since tearing the lateral ligament in his right knee during a friendly match on August 16th.

The 27-year-old has spent the last weeks recovering in the gym, running and doing light football related exercises. The former Pas is expected to return next week to the club´s training ground to start the intense physical training part of his recovery program.

It is not yet known when Nekounam can return to first-team-action.

پس از پايان مرحله انتخابي رقابت هاي فوتبال جام جهاني 2010 افريقاي جنوبي نام چهار بازيکن جديد از جمله جواد نکونام در فهرست نامزدان بهترين بازيکن سال آسيا قرار گرفت. جواد نکونام کاپيتان تيم ملي فوتبال ايران که در جام ملت هاي آسيا 2007 با گرفتن دو MVP بهترين بازيکن ايران در اين بازيها بود، يکبار ديگر و بعد از بازگشت به تيم ملي در بازيهاي انتخابي جام جهاني دوباره براي سال 2008 در هفتمين فهرست نامزدان بهترين بازيکن سال آسيا قرار گرفته است .
به غير از نکونام که يکشنبه شب اولين گل ايران را وارد دروازه کويت کرد کيم دو هيون از کره جنوبي ، مالک الهوساوي از عربستان و جهاد الحسين ار سوريه بازيکنان جديد ديگري بودند که توانستند به جمع نامزدان وارد شوند.
مطابق قبل در فهرست جديد نيزبازيکناني که تاکنون در بازيهاي مهم آسيا بيشترين عنوان " بهترين بازيکن " يا MVP را گرفته اند وارد ليست شده اند که البته تا روز انتخاب بهترين بازيکن و بصورت مداوم امتياز بازيکنان محاسبه خواهد شد و هر بار فهرست بر مبناي تعداد MVP ها دوباره تنظيم خواهد شد.
نام بهترين بازيکن روز 25 نوامبر - 5 آذر در مراسم بهترين هاي آسيا در شانگهاي چين اعلام خواهد شد.

هافبك ايرانى تيم فوتبال اوساسونا در حمايت از هموطن و همتيمى جديد خود گفت: اطمينان دارم كه شجاعى خيلى زود با شرايط جديد خود سازگار مى شود. جواد نكونام اظهار داشت: از ديد من مسعود شجاعى بازيكنى ايده آلى براى اوساسوناست و مى تواند در تركيب اين تيم به يك بازيكن ثابت و تأثير گذار تبديل شود. نكونام افزود: از شنيدن اين خبر بسيار خوشحال شدم به هيچ وجه احساس نكردم كه رقيبى براى من پيدا شده است.وى تصريح كرد: اوساسونا باشگاه بزرگى است و بازيكنانش هم بايد قدر عضويت در آن را بدانند.

After trailing for most of the game to a Saad Al Harthi strike in Riyadh, Nekounam headed the visitors back level with just eight minutes remaining.

With North Korea winning 2-1 in UAE earlier, the Saudis and Iranians sit in second and third place in Group B.

It was a game of two halves. Saudi Arabia will be kicking themselves for only taking a 1-0 advantage in at the break.

The hosts were missing Malek Maaz and starting without Yasser Al-Qahtani but it didn’t seem to matter as they controlled the opening period.

Seyed Rahmati in the Iranian goal was in fine form, making a crucial save from Faisal Al Sultan but there was nothing he could do about Saad Al Harthi’s opener on the half-hour.

A low cross from Abdullah Shuhail found the striker in space inside the area and he made no mistake in firing home into the top corner.

Whatever Iran coach Ali Daei said during the break, it worked as Team Melli were much improved. Masoud Shojaei and Vahid Hashemian both went close.

The equaliser came after 82 minutes. A corner from the right brushed the head of Shojaei and bounced to the far post where Nekounam was arriving unseen like an express train.

The Osasuna midfielder headed the ball over Mansour Al Naje and into the net.

There scoreline remained the same, leaving Daei happier than his opposite number Nasser Al Johar.

Iran travel to UAE next Wednesday while Saudi Arabia have a rest day.

جواد نکونام ستاره ايراني تيم فوتبال اوساسوناي اسپانيا با توجه به شروع مسابقات فصل 09/2008 آن هم بعد از تقريبا يک سال دوري از فوتبال به خاطر مصدوميت شديد زانو، در مصاحبه با سايت اين باشگاه گفت که احساس کاملا خوبي دارد.

وي در اين گفت و گو اظهار داشت: در اينجا احساس مي کنم که در خانه هستم. هنگام بازي در زمين واقعا احساس راحتي مي کنم و اين چيزها باعث مي شود بهتر بازي انجام دهم.
نکونام افزود: باشگاه به من اطمينان کامل دارد و بعد از تقريبا يک فصل نيمکت نشيني بي صبرانه منتظر بودم دوباره بازي کنم اگرچه براي رسيدن به اوج آمادگي هنوز بايد به تمرينات خود ادامه بدهم.
اين درحاليست که وي امسال را در کنار "مسعود شجاعي" ديگر هموطن خود بازي خواهد کرد.
نکونام در اين خصوص هم يادآور شد: از آمدن او به اوساسونا خوشحالم. همه دوست دارند با يکي از هموطنان خود در يک تيم باشند اگرچه کمي دير آمد چون در دو سال گذشته من در اوساسونا تنها بودم. واقعا به او اطمينان دارم چون بازيکن بسيار خوبي است.
وي همچنين با بيان اينکه ورود شجاعي به پامپلونا روي رسانه هاي ايراني تاثير گذاشته، ادامه داد: اوساسونا به يکي از باشگاه هاي محبوب در ايران تبديل شده است. در حال حاضر تعداد زيادي از ايراني ها اوساسونا را حمايت مي کنند و آخرين باري که به ايران رفته بودم خبرنگاران سوالات زيادي در مورد اين تيم از من پرسيدند.
نکونام با توجه به نقش خود به عنوان رهبر تيم ترجيح داد از کل تيم به عنوان يک گروه ياد کند و گفت: همکاري و حمايت يکديگر بسيار مهم است. ما بايد به عنوان يک تيم بازي کنيم و براي رسيدن هرچه سريعتر به اهداف خود بکوشيم.

به گزارش خبرگزاری ورزش ایران (ایپنا)، در جریان دیدار تیم های رئال مادرید و اوساسونا در چارچوب هفته نوزدهم رقابت های لالیگا، لحظاتی پیش و در دقیقه بیستم بازی جواد نکونام با ضربه سری دیدنی بالاتر فابیو کاناوارو دروازه ایکر کاسیاس را گشود تا بازی یک بر صفر به سود اوساسونا شود.

Osasuna's Javad Nekounam has been named Persianfootball.com's Iranian Player of the Year in the first edition of the PFDC Annual Awards.

Hundreds of fans took part in the online poll, with Nekounam gaining 65% of the votes cast in the front page poll and impressive 76% in the Forums Poll, easily edging out the other nominees Karim Bagheri, Mehdi Rahmati, Gholamreza Rezaei and Masoud Shojaei.

The 28-year-old was a key part of the Osasuna team that qualified to the semi-finals of the 2006-2007 UEFA Cup. His constency made him one of Spain's best defensive midfieder which included him in the UEFA revelation squad of the year.

A lot was expected for the upcoming season, but Neko suffered an ACL rupture in his right knee that kept him on the lines for most of the season.

After making his return in the end of April, the former Pas playmaker took captaincy of Team Melli and led by exemple scoring four vital goals in the 2010 World Cup Qualification matches, three of them in the final stage against Saudi Arabia, DPR Korea and Korea Republic, making him Iran's topscorer in the competition.

The crowd favorite came back to Pamplona boosted by the arrival of compatriot Masoud Shojaei and the desire to assume more responsabilty inside the locker room and on the field.

Osasuna's current season is not exactly what he had in mind, the Basque club being in danger of relegation. Never the less the team has been playing better lately and Nekounam has been an important part of the recent success.

The defensive midfielder is currently leading in Osasuna in minutes played and is the scoring leader having netted five goals.

Nekounam, born in Ray in the Tehran provice in 1980, started his professional playing career with Pas Tehran in 1998 and quickly emerged as a keyplayer there, earning the nickname "The General" for his strategic play and leadership.

The Pas man debuted for the national team in 2000 and soon became a fixed player, earning 97 caps and scoring 24 goals up to now. Nekounam also repeatedly wore the captain's armband in the national team.

Osasuna came back from a goal down to beat Real Madrid 2-1 and secure their survival in La Liga on a dramatic last day of action.

The men from Pamplona had previously beat FC Barcelona last round and were in charge of their own destiny, a home victory against the 2007-08 champions would prolong their stay in Spain top division.

It started the worst way possible for the Basques as Higuain gave the visitors an early lead, but goals from Jaroslav Plasil and Juanfran ensured survival for the Reds.

The 20 000 fans at the Stadio Reyno de Navarra were silenced after ten minutes when Argentina striker Higuain got rid of Monreal before firing an unstoppable drive past Ricardo.

Five minutes later, the hosts equalised when Jaroslav Plasil beat Casillas with a powerful strike from the edge of the box.

The goal gave Camacho's men confidence and they started to lay siege on the Madrid goal.

Javad Nekounam almost found the back of the net before the half time whistle, his effort beat Casillas but was saved on the line by Marcelo.

After the restart, Osasuna continued where they left off and were given the men advantage in the 55th minute when Salgado was sent off for a foul on Plasil.

Nekounam's free-kick sent Casillas the wrong way and was heading towards the goal but was deflected on the wall. The resulting corner was headed by the Iranian midfielder, but Casillas made a brilliant save to deny Osasuna the much needed goal.

They eventually got it on the hour mark, this time Casillas could do nothing to prevent Juanfran's fantastic volley from finding its way into the top left corner.

The last moments of the match were anxious moments for the players and the fans, but they hold sending the home fans into jubilation.

Osasuna finish the 2008-09 season 15th with 43 points and can now start planning for their 10th successive season of top-flight football.

The Iranian duo of Pamplona were in the starting line-up of the most important match of the year.

Javad Nekounam was instrumental in the victory while Masoud Shojaei had an average afternoon.

جواد نكونام هفته گذشته اعلام كرد كه دوست دارد فصل آينده هم در اوساسونا بماند اما اصرار باشگاه ويارئال براى جذب اين بازيكن همچنان ادامه دارد.نكونام درباره احتمال پيوستنش به ويارئال گفت: مدير برنامه هايم در حال پيگيرى اين موضوع است و اينكه ويارئال خواهان جذب من است را تاييد مى كنم. من علاقه زيادى به اوساسونا و بازى كردن در اين تيم دارم اما از قرار گرفتن در يك شرايط جديد هم استقبال مى كنم، بنابراين احتمال حضورم در ويارئال بسيار زياد است هرچند كه بايد تمامى شرايط براى اين انتقال مهيا باشد.
