Critique

Why does Iranian cinema have to be so perssimistic? why no happy endings? why always sorrow and discouragement? It made me really sad; watching Taraneh I mean. I know there are similar people out there with similar problems; innocent people...innocent mothers. But I can't recall many movies made in Iran (in the past decade) which had a unique theme; something that would move you away from reality into the realm of ecstacy. That's what happens in hollywood and in the action/adventure/humourous movies. It all comes down to the political policies. I dunno how much longer this situation (and lots of others) can hold; and I hope people wouldn't have to suffer the dire consequences.

Sorry for giving you a headache, thought I would open up to let the sadness out.

it was one of the best movies put on this site, and in comparison with the other sites it was one of the best ever. congratulation to the people who were involved in making this great movie. we need to note that nowadays film makers in iran just bring girl-boy love relationship on the cinema's curtains just for more money making. but this film was not that sort.
