    Israeli Music

i thogh since we exchange so many thoght about somany diffrnt people we should also celebrate some thier culture

this is an israeli song by amir peretz-tagidi meaning tell me

somtimes in debates people can loos or the horizon becomes blurrary that the people or group you are talking about at the end of the are just like you drivien by same natural aspiration and thoghts

G-d determines who walks into your life....It is up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

Thanks for the want of sharing other cultures . . and i think that we should have a wider look . .even though music is not everything

      thanks for the idea. !

If you llike Sarit Hadad, here's one of my favourites of hers: Telech Kapara Alai (Get away from me):
YouTube - Sarit Hadad - Telech Kapara Alai

And here's one she does in Turkish with Ibrahim Tatlises : YouTube - Sarit Hadad and Ibrahim Tatlises

Her family was from Uzbekistan or Azerbaijan - not sure, but somewhere in the former Soviet Union. Sarit was born in Hadera, Israel (her real name is Sara Hodedtov). She speaks and sings many languages. (Can you tell I'm a fan?)

There is tons of great Israeli music around - depends what you like. Israelis are from all over the world, so there are many different styles for all ages.

Here's an example of an ultra-orthodox Jewish Israeli (Gad Elbaz) singing with an Israeli rapper (Alon de Loco):
YouTube - Gad Elbaz - Halayla Ze HaZman

And if you like a bit of rap at the beginning of a son (it's mostly music), here's another of Alon de Loco with a bit of Gad Elbaz:
              YouTube - alon de loco

Enjoy... and email me if you want more "world" music. I have tons of Greek, Turkish, Israeli, Lebanese, German and of course Persian music (my favourite).

No, not Israeli, but lived there 1973-1974 (yes, was there during Yom Kippur war). I also know many Israelis who live in my area (but... ani lo medaberet ivrit, aval ken, ani yehudi, if that's what you're asking)... all of which explains my love for all kinds of Middle Eastern music.

I've uploaded a small sample of Israeli music here:

You can download (right-click, save), you can play in your music player or you can play on the web page.

                              Songs are:

                              Alisa Feinman: K'isha

                              Gad Elbaz: Inshallah

                              Haim Moshe: Habibi ya Eini

Oren Chen & Stalos: Tni Li Pas
