The problem with Arab and Greek-influenced view of Persians is they consider Iranians as the only Persians which leaves millions of Persian speakers of today's Afghanistan, Samarqand and Bukhara of today's Uzbakestan, Tajiks of today's Tajikestan and Persian speakers of India and Pakistan e.t.c, out of the picture.

Ancient 'Greater Khorassan' (Khorassan e Kabeer) which is today's Afghanistan was home to the greatests of Persian history like Prophet Zoroaster or Zartusht who first inroduced his religion in ancient Balkh, Ibn Sina Balkhi, Mowlana Rumi Balkhi, Hakim Sana'i of Ghazni, Hakim Ferdowsi, Khawjeh Abdollah Ansari & Hakim Jami of Herat, Beydel, Daqiqi of Balkh (the first who started authoring 'Shah-Nameh'), Birooni, Omar Khayyam, Roodaki and many other whom revived the Persian language and Persian culture, were from today's Afghanistan.

Iranian Parsi is mixed with French, English, Turkish and Arab languages and undamentally there are two cultures in today's Iran. The Azeri-Turk culture which is similar to Caucasus culture. The other one is the Persian culture which is related to the Persians of Central Asia.

The division line goes in the middle of the country. Tehran, Isfahan and Azerbaaijans have close similarities to Caucasus in terms of culture. Lorestan, Fars and Khorasan belong to Persian culture. Kurds have their own category but classed under Arian culture closeer to Persians than Azeris and Turks.

Afghanistan is classed under Eastern Iran and have pure Perso-Arian culture, this is one of the reasons that the Akhonds and the Azeri-Turk government of Islamic republic of Iran are trying to move as many Turks as possible into Tehran. Azeri-Turk culture from Caucasus is not indigenous to Iran and the only way they can force their culture on Persians of Iran is to move their people into Tehran and it's suburbs.

Now, you might not even be 50% Persian! I have a feeling your roots take you right to the feet of Ata Turk from father side, and Molla Nasruddin from mother side LOL

What is funny in this video is that Shahab Tiam (an Azeri Turk) is entering the "Khorasan (Afghanistan) Tourist Center" but he is singing for an Indian girl who is dancing with saree, indian make-up and indian clothes LoL

I think Shahab Tiam don't know anything about Khorassanian culture and he probably thought all Afghan girls wear Indian dress and dance like Indians. The other reason is he couldn't find an Afghan girl so he paid an Indian dancer with heavy Indian make-up to dance for him LoL
