Bono says feels "exploited" by Berlusconi mag

Irish rocker and charity champion Bono has written to Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi to complain about how his picture was used in a magazine listing the government's achievements ahead of elections next week.



"Mr. Berlusconi, as flattered as I can be of appearing in your brochure, I also feel a bit exploited," Bono said in the letter, a copy of which was printed on the front page of the Corriere della Sera daily on Sunday.

The glossy, 161-page magazine was published by Berlusconi's Forza Italia (Go Italy!) party and has been sent to millions of Italian households ahead of the April 9-10 ballot.

It is full of photos of an ever-smiling prime minister addressing crowds and conversing with world leaders.

At one point it features a picture of Bono, who has spearheaded a campaign to persuade the leaders of the Group of Eight richest nations to double aid to Africa.

Bill Cosby tells New Orleans blacks to reject crime

Entertainer Bill Cosby urged New Orleans' black population on Saturday to cleanse itself of a culture of crime as it rebuilds from the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina last year.

Cosby, whose criticism of some aspects of modern African-American culture has stirred controversy in recent years, told a rally headed by black leaders that the city needed to look at the "wound" it had before Katrina struck.

"It's painful, but we can't cleanse ourselves unless we look at the wound," Cosby told the rally of about 2,000 people in front of the city's convention center.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you had the highest murder rate, unto each other. You were dealing drugs to each other. You were impregnating our 13-, 12-, 11-year-old children," he said.

Former home of Presley up for auction

Those eager for a piece of the Elvis Presley legacy might consider bidding on the first house he bought after striking musical gold.

Beginning April 14, the ranch-style Memphis house -- at 1034 Audubon Drive -- will be exclusively auctioned on eBay.

This was the house made possible by the runaway success of Presley's first No. 1 hit, "Heartbreak Hotel," in 1956. Though Presley lived there for only a little over a year (blame overexcited fans and pesky photographers), his home improvements -- including a pool and motorcycle garage -- remain intact. Bidding ends May 14.

NBC's Campbell Brown Weds

Weekend Today co-anchor Campbell Brown, 37, and Dan Senor, 34, a FOX News analyst, were married on Sunday in Colorado.

The bride wore a Vera Wang gown at the afternoon ceremony, which took place at the Beaver Creek Chapel in Beaver Creek, Colo. After the "I do's," guests headed to Beaver Creek Mountain for a reception at the Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch resort.

Brown, who is also a correspondent for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and the Today show, had interviewed Senor numerous times when he worked as a Bush foreign policy advisor. They were first reported to be dating in October 2004, and got engaged last November.

Senor, a Republican strategist as well as a FOX News contributor, previously worked in Iraq as a spokesperson for and senior advisor to U.S. Ambassador Paul Bremer.

Brown, who often fills in for Today's Katie Couric, is considered one of the top contenders to replace Couric should she jump to CBS Evening News.

Chad Michael Murray Is Engaged

Chad Michael Murray is engaged to One Tree Hill crew member Kenzie Dalton, 18, PEOPLE has learned exclusively from a source close to the couple.

No other details were immediately available.

Murray, 24, was previously married to Sophia Bush, a co-star on One Tree Hill. The pair split last September after five months of marriage.

Madonna Announces New World Tour

Don't expect Madonna to be a homebody this summer. The Material Mom is setting sail on a world "Confessions Tour," she announced Monday.

"I'm going to turn the world into one big dance floor," Madonna, 47, said in a statement.

This tour, in support of her 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, will mark Madonna's first since the "Re-Invention Tour" of two years ago.

The confessions will kick off May 21 in Los Angeles, and then head east through Las Vegas, Phoenix, Chicago, Montreal, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami and Atlantic City before landing in Europe for a July 30 gig in Cardiff, Wales, and continuing through London, Rome and Paris.

From there additional dates will be added for concerts in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan.

As was previously announced, Madonna will make her first festival performance April 30, at California's Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

David Hasselhoff Seeks Rehab for Wife

The David Hasselhoff-Pamela Bach divorce is getting even uglier. The former Baywatch actor has filed papers implying that Bach, who has accused him of domestic violence, has a drug problem and needs psychiatric help.

In papers filed Tuesday at Los Angeles Superior Court, Hasselhoff, 53, requests that Bach, 43, complete a drug rehabilitation program and submit to random drug testing. He also asks that she retain a doctor who specializes in psychiatric medications.

Bach's lawyer, Gary Mitchell, tells PEOPLE, "Pamela has no history of drug use and the allegations are completely false. The request is in reference to a recent surgery she had and a prescription for Vicodin, but she has not abused Vicodin and has actually taken less than the prescribed amount."

Jennifer Aniston Mum on Wedding Rumor

Things grew tense on Tuesday morning's Today show when Jennifer Aniston was asked about a rumor that Oprah Winfrey was planning to throw an $8 million wedding for her and boyfriend Vince Vaughn.

"I thought you weren't going to go there," Catherine Keener, Aniston's costar in the new movie Friends with Money, said to Today entertainment reporter Jill Rappaport as Aniston and costar Joan Cusack looked on silently.

When Rappaport asked the question, Aniston had just finished saying she didn't mind giving interviews, so long as the topic was the movie, not her love life.

Rappaport acknowledged Keener's instinct to protect Aniston, but said she was still curious about the rumors because she herself had never been to an $8 million wedding.

"And now you won't be," said Keener, as Aniston remained tight-lipped.

Friends with Money opens in limited engagements Friday.

In addition to promoting her new film, Aniston has also recently been in Chicago with Vaughn shooting additional scenes for the couple's upcoming film The Break Up.

Playboy Apologizes to Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba has made peace with Playboy.

The actress, 24, has backed off her demand that the magazine yank its March issue after she received a letter of apology from founder and publisher Hugh Hefner, the Associated Press reports.

Alba was upset because she had not agreed to be on the cover, which she said suggested she appeared nude inside the issue. Alba was shown in a bikini next to the headline "25 Sexiest Celebrities."

"I appreciate Mr. Hefner's acknowledgment of the distress caused by Playboy's actions, and I'm happy to put this unfortunate event behind me," Alba said in a statement Tuesday. "This was never about money, it was about setting the record straight about something that was done without my knowledge or consent."

Playboy also made undisclosed donations to two charities Alba supports, Keep A Child Alive and Until There's A Cure, according to her rep, Brad Cafarelli.

"Hef felt bad that Jessica was upset and apologized for unintentionally hurting her feelings. We're happy the matter has been amicably resolved," said Playboy spokeswoman Lauren Malone.
