You know, I have never ever been so ashamed to be Iranian!! How can you people talk like this? Who cares if someone is Gay, Straight..or whatever? We are ALL human beings. If I love a Man and not a woman, does that make me evil? Are you telling me that the sick corrupt people who are in control of our beloved country are in any way better than a gay human being?
To all of you haters, first of all...before you start making ignorant remarks..why don't you meet some gay and lesbian people before you judge them. Second, don't just base your ideas on what you hear and read and watch on TV. If we were to just listen to what is being said by TV and not see things for ourselves, we would thing that all Iranians are Terrorists that want to destroy the world..is that true? hell no!!!!
I'm gay and totally proud of it. I don't hate anyone and accept everyone for who they are. What has a gay person done to any of you to deserve these horrible things? You really thing killing a person because they are gay or lesbian is right? You call yourselves human beings? You know not to long ago people said the same exact thing about black people. Is that right? Do you remember after sept. 11th? When Muslims were attacked? Is that right? To the idiot american who couldn't tell the difference between a sikh and a muslim, they thought anyone wearing a turban was muslim. Do you guys remember all the mosques that were vandelized? Was that right? NO!! Ignorance is Ignorance no matter who or what it is directed to.
I never chose to be gay. Why the hell would I want to be hated? Why would anyone choose that? Oh, and by the way...there is no way gay people flaunt their sexuality more than straight people. Instead of just following the same old garbage that you have been tought...why don't you all go out into the world yourselves and see what gay life and gay people are truly like. It is NOTHING like what you hear and see. There are TONS of gay people in Iran. And they are good and decent human beings.
You should all be ashamed of yourselves. If you call yourself a good muslim, a good human, and a decent person...you would never wish anyone any harm and accept them for who they are. The problem with our "culture" isn't gay people...it's the idiotic backwards thinking that has brought us here.Comment

It's good to know that there are at least some people out there that are not closed minded and ignorant. I really do feel sorry for Farnaz. I don't know how she was raised or what kind of environment she grew up in, so I can't make any kind of comment in that reguard. It is really sad when people just make comments and they don't realize how hurtful they can be.
I just wonder how she would react if someone told her she was Sick, or a terrorist just because she is Iranian. Feeling hate from people is a horrible thing and I don't wish it on anyone.

I have never felt sorry for myself. Why should I? I am a good person. I don't harm others. I don't judge others. I help people whenever I can. I've never hurt or caused pain in anyones life nor have I wished them any ill will.
