David Beckham joined his Real Madrid teammates in training Tuesday for the first time since he sprained a right knee ligament a month ago.
Beckham will have to wait before he takes part in a full training program and may not be ready for Sunday's Spanish league game against Osasuna at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
The former England captain, who was injured during Madrid's game against Getafe, has missed three league matches since running into the advertising signs behind the goal.
Beckham has 10 games remaining before he joins the Los Angeles Galaxy in August.
Madrid still has a chance of winning the title, which would be Beckham's first major trophy since he joined the club from Manchester United in 2003.
Madrid is third in the league with 51 points, five behind leader FC Barcelona.

به گزارش روز سه*شنبه سايت گل، با اينكه شايعه بركناري وي از مربيگري باشگاه رئال خبر تازه*اي نيست اما اولين بار است كه بازنشستگي او به موضوع مورد توجه رسانه*هاي خبري تبديل شده.
وي فصل گذشته اعلام كرده*بود كه در دو يا سه فصل آينده كناره*گيري خواهد كرد و تيم رئال آخرين پست مربيگري اوست. با اين وصف شايد خروج زودهنگام او از رئال، امكان ادامه مربيگري در تيم ديگري را فراهم كند.
به نظر مي*رسد كاپلو تصميمش را گرفته و قصد ندارد بعد از ترك باشگاه رئال، با هيچ تيم ديگري قرارداد امضا كند.
گزارش*ها نيز حاكي از اين است كه او اشتياقي براي بدست گرفتن سكان هدايت تيم ملي ايتاليا ندارد درحاليكه سال قبل اين امكان را منتفي نمي دانست.
كاپلو اين تصميم را رسما اعلام نكرده چون ممكن است با كناره*گيري داوطلبانه خود، پاداش مالي باشگاه رئال را از دست بدهد.
"پديا مياتوويچ" مدير فني رئال در اين خصوص گفت: اگر قهرمان ليگ اسپانيا شويم، منطقا او بايد به مربيگري ادامه دهد.

گزارش*هاي منتشره حاكيست، "فابيو كاپلو" سرمربي كهنه*كار تيم فوتبال رئال مادريد اسپانيا به بازنشستگي فكر مي*كند.
سايت گل روز چهارشنبه نوشت، شايعات در مورد بازنشستگي كاپلو از فوتبال پس از تلاش ناموفق او در اسپانيا به همراه رئال مادريد، اوج گرفته است.
اين تيم از مسابقات جام باشگاه*هاي اروپا و همچنين مسابقات جام حذفي باشگاه*هاي اسپانيا حذف شده است اما هنوز براي قهرماني در لاليگا با بارسلونا رقابت مي*كند.
تاكتيك*هاي كاپلو كه بر پايه نتيجه بنا شده*اند، نتوانسته عملكردهاي ضعيف رئال مادريد را جبران كند و همين امر هواداران اين تيم را ناراضي*تر از گذشته كرده است.
اختلاف كاپلو با تعدادي از بازيكنان رئال مادريد هم يكي ديگر از دلايل رفتن اين مربي خواهد بود.

Third-placed Real Madrid closed to within two points of leaders Barcelona with a 2-0 home win over Osasuna in the Primera Liga on Sunday.
Striker Raul scored after 24 minutes and late in the second half Robinho broke away to seal the side's third win in a row.
The victory allowed them to make the most of slip ups from the leading two this weekend, moving on to 54 points.
Barcelona have 56 after falling 1-0 at Real Zaragoza on Saturday. Second-placed Sevilla could only draw 0-0 at home with Racing Santander, and moved on to 55.
"We are still behind but we have closed the points gap and are in high spirits. We are improving and this will be vital in the coming decisive games," said Real coach Fabio Cappello.
There are nine matches left this season.
Sevilla, who rested key players ahead of their UEFA Cup quarter-final return against Tottenham Hotspur, had the best of their game but missed the chance to go top.
Racing goalkeeper Tono pulled off a string of top class saves and when Sevilla did finally manage to beat him Daniel Alves's 30-metre shot hit the crossbar.
Zaragoza are fourth on 50 points the same as Valencia, who lost 1-0 at Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
Three points further back are sixth-placed Atletico Madrid who ground out a 1-0 away win at Villarreal with a header from Brazilian defender Fabiano Eller.

Recreativo Huelva are seventh on 45 points after sweeping aside struggling Celta Vigo 4-2 with two goals from Romanian forward Laurentiu Rosu.
The bottom three are Gimnastic, Real Sociedad and Celta Vigo, who all lost.
Real started brightly in the Bernabeu forcing Osasuna goalkeeper Ricardo into sharp saves from Gonzalo Higuain and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
UEFA Cup quarter-finalists Osasuna were depleted with suspensions and injury and although David Lopez forced Iker Casillas into a fine one-handed save in the 10th minute, offered little.
Real took the lead when Mahamadou Diarra's lofted pass was nodded down in the area by Emerson for the arriving Raul to steer home.
After the break, Ricardo saved well from an Emerson header and a long range effort from Sergio Ramos before lively Brazilian forward Robinho broke from an Osasuna corner in the 80th minute.
He fed Higuain on the right and as Ricardo flapped at the Argentine's return cross drilled home his third goal in as many games.

Real Madrid seized on slips by Barcelona and Sevilla to move firmly back into Primera Liga title contention on Sunday.
The capital club beat Osasuna, 2-0, at the Bernabeu, just hours after Sevilla was held to a goalless draw at home to Racing Santander.
Defending champions Barca was beaten, 1-0, at Real Zaragoza on Saturday night with Diego Milito netting the only goal.
Having seen what had gone before, Madrid were determined to see off the Pamplona-based visitors. Raul stabbed them ahead from close range after 23 minutes and Robinho secured all three points 10 minutes from time.
Sevilla was made to rue a host of missed opportunities as visiting goalkeeper Antonio Tono ensured a hard-earned point for his side.
Ernesto Chevanton was the principal villain for the hosts with a series of squandered opportunities.
At the end of round 29, Barca leads the way with 56 points, one more than Sevilla with Madrid a further point adrift.
Zaragoza's defeat of Barca moved them up to fourth, level on points with Valencia, which was beaten, 1-0, at Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
Atletico Madrid remains in contention for a place in next season's Champions League following a 1-0 win at Villarreal - Fabiano Eller scoring the only goal 11 minutes before halftime.
Fernando Torres sparkled for the visitors but could not get on the scoresheet and even saw a late penalty saved by home keeper Sebastian Viera.
Former Arsenal and France midfielder Robert Pires was sent off for a foul on Gabi Fernandez, which led to the spot-kick.
Recreativo Huelva's bid to play European football next season remained on track with a 4-2 defeat of Celta Vigo.
Jesus Vazquez's first-half penalty for Recre had been canceled out by Celta's Anderson Nene, also from the spot, as the game went into the last few minutes.
Laurentiu Rosu scored twice in two minutes for Recre only for Nene to grab his second to make the score 3-2, but there was still time for substitute Jose Cheli to strike one last blow for the winners and leave Vigo in the bottom three.
The bottom two, Real Sociedad and Gimnastic Tarragona, also lost on Sunday.
Gimnastic, who prop up the rest, succumbed to Iglesias Iago's free-kick at Deportivo La Coruna, 1-0, while Ferran Coro's solitary strike proved enough for Espanyol to see off Sociedad, 1-0.
Levante moved two points clear of the drop zone thanks to a 1-1 home draw against Real Betis.
Inaki Descarga put the Valencia-based hosts ahead only for Robert to level nine minutes from time.
Sunday's other game resulted in Real Mallorca beating Getafe, 2-0, thanks to goals from Jose Carlos Nunes and Oscar Trejo.

روزنامه ورزشي "آس" چاپ مادريد امروز چهارشنبه گزارش داد: "فرانكو بالديني" معاون امور ورزشي رئال مادريد روز چهارشنبه هفته گذشته در اين زمينه با "جورج مندز" نماينده رونالدو در لندن ديدار كرد.
طبق اين گزارش، در اين ديدار محرمانه، دو طرف براي در پيش گرفتن يك استراتژي مشترك براي انتقال رونالدو از منچستر به رئال گفت*وگو كردند.
به نوشته آس، بالديني به مندز اعلام كرد كه مقامهاي رئال مادريد تصميم گرفته*اند بازيكن پرتغالي منچستر را براي سال آينده ورزشي به كار گيرند.
اين روزنامه نوشت: مندز نيز گفت مقامهاي باشگاه منچستر مشكلات فراواني براي خروج رونالدو پيش پاي رئال خواهند گذاشت اما رونالدو حاضر به انعقاد قرارداد جديد با منچستر نيست و علاقه شديدي به حضور در رئال دارد.
اين روزنامه ورزشي گزارش كرد كه "آلكس فرگوسون" سرمربي تيم منچستر يونايتد حاضر به از دست دادن ستاره اصلي تيم خود نيست اما "گلازر" رييس باشگاه منچستر، فروش رونالدو را به رئال معامله بسيار خوبي مي*داند.
طبق اين گزارش، منچستر يونايتد با فروش رونالدو به رئال ۱۳۵ميليون يورو درآمد خواهد داشت.
از اين مبلغ ۸۰ميليون يورو را از رئال مادريد و ۵۵ميليون ديگر را از محل انعقاد قرارداد جديد با رونالدو بدست خواهد آورد.

"The dressing room is united, sharing the same goals"
Sergio Ramos said the squad is united in a press conference this morning. He is optimistic with the team's chances of winning the League, but he is cautious and thinks they must focus on each game at a time. He knows their main opponents to the title are going through a hard time, but he prefers to think about the good job Real Madrid are doing. He hopes to defeat Racing Santander on Saturday and to be able to stop striker Zigic, who is currently having an excellent run.
The basketball team won the ULEB Cup last night.
I want to congratulate them. They've done an excellent job and deserved to win. We are happy with how well things are going for the basketball team because their victories are very important for the Club.
The League couldn't be tighter...
It's being very interesting because there are hardly any differences between the teams on the top of the table. We managed to get closer to the leaders this weekend. We're happy. We must remain calm because any mistake can be fatal at this stage. Four teams are currently strong contenders for the title and I hope we manage to win in the end, but it will be very hard.
Three weeks ago nobody thought you could win.
We respect everyone else's opinions. Three weeks ago no one gave a dime for us and now everyone does. We are currently favourites to the title, but I don't care about that. We must take each game at a time.

I personally never had stagefright. The most important and beautiful thing for a player should be to play at home before his own fans. We've made an improvement and we hope to win every point at stake at the Bernabéu.
Do you think Barcelona suffer from Madriditis
I don't go to Barcelona very often... I only think about my team and I want to make our fans enjoy watching us play. I think the fans are getting more confident and excited. They support us more now. That's what's really important for us, not what happens anywhere else.
Do you think Barcelona are having a bad spell?
I don't know what happens indoors at Barcelona. I only know they have a great squad. Every good team goes through good and bad spells. We are currently having a good run because we stand united, sharing the same goals. It's hard for any team to keep up with the demands Barcelona have had. They always take their toll on you in the end, which is what's happened to them, but they are still leaders.
This weekend you will play against Racing Santander.
We must respect our rival. We always try to win the three points wherever we play, but Racing are playing at a very high level. We are worried about their striker Zigic because he is capable of scoring at any given time.
Is it harder to defend against such a tall striker?
Yes it is. We have to anticipate every one of his movements. We mustn't allow him to face the goal.
Valencia were eliminated from the Champions League yesterday, which means they can now focus more on the League.
When a team stops being in another competition it has more time to recover and prepare for a League match. It would have been better for them and for us if they had gone through to the next round.
Do you think the Premiership is better than La Liga?
Our League is one of the best in the world, if not the best. Every player wants to play in Spain. Except for Barcelona's victory last year, Spanish football isn't doing so well in Europe, while English teams are, but our League is still very good.
Would you like to end the season as a right back?
I'm not worried about which position I play in. The coach has faith in me. We must all adapt to the team's needs. I like playing as a right back, especially because I can attack more.
People talk a lot about Atletico Madrid's controversial goal against Villarreal...
You never know. The most important thing is to respect your rival. I would have kicked the ball out if someone from the other team was down because you never know how seriously he can be injured.Comment

Racing Santander dealt a major blow to nine-man Real Madrid's title hopes as two second-half penalties earned them a 2-1 win.
Three points would have sent Fabio Capello's side a point clear of Barcelona at the top of the Primera Liga table, but they could now find themselves five points off the pace if the Catalans beat Real Mallorca on Sunday.
Raul had given Madrid the lead just after the half-hour, but Ezequiel Garay twice converted from the spot in the last 20 minutes to boost Racing's chance of European qualification.
A demoralized Real ended the night with nine men on the field after Ivan Helguera and Alvaro Mejia were sent off in the closing minutes.
In Saturday's other match, Real Sociedad gave their hopes of avoiding the drop a lift with a 1-0 win at fellow strugglers Real Betis.
Javier Garrido scored the decider after 33 minutes to earn Sociedad only their fifth win of the season.
They remain in the bottom three however, five points from safety, while Betis are six points above the relegation zone with eight matches left.

Real Madrid sporting director Predrag Mijatovic admits he made "a mistake" by failing to secure David Beckham's long-term future at the Bernabeu.
The former England captain will head to Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer at the end of the season after failing to agree a contract extension with the Spanish club.
Former Madrid striker Mijatovic admits media comments during negotiations "confused" all parties.
"When the season started we wanted David to stay, although we couldn't arrive at an agreement," he told The Sun. "Looking back I realize that it was a mistake not to talk things through clearly.
"The comments in the press from me, the president and his agent confused the player and us and because of that mistakes were made."
Beckham, the former England captain, ended up signing a contract worth an estimated $248 million with the Galaxy.
