                      thats an unrealistic expectation. human beings are social beings and a person does not choose their friends depending on the dating status of their friend.

                        if there is trust and freedom in the relationship, there is no problem with friendship with the opposite sex. maybe only insecure people don't allow it. and if you don't allow it, it makes the person feel deprived and lonely, and then you have something to worry about!!!!

                        I liked the lead article though... it should be clear that you are taken before you become friends with someone.
