Mike seems to think that just because the Israelis have a so called democracy their political system is better than the Palestinians. The reality is there is no democracy in Israel Mike, its a facade. If the US cant and doesnt have democracy dont expect Israel to be able to. I think if there can be peace than why not try for this hudna. Its worth a shot, there is nothing to lose, since it means ceasefire and no war (which means no innocent lives lost). the problem comes with Israel being able to stick to something though: can Israel hold true to its word and not use the ceasefire to its advantage?

and the arguement about one state? the world is supposed to be a melting pot, with different people living together peacefully. the hatred that a so called jew will have for a muslim or a muslim will have for a jew is based on propaganda by each country. If they were to come together and see the opposite side as humans first and formost, then there is no reason for them not live together side by side peacefully.
