French teenager Willy Aubameyang headed an 86th minute winner as AC Milan beat fierce rivals Juventus 3-2 to win the 16th edition of the Luigi Berlusconi trophy.

The 19-year-old Parisian of Gabonese descent rose above his marker to meet Andrea Pirlo's cross and nod in his first goal for the Italian club.

Fillipo Inzaghi gave Milan the lead in the 29th minute, but Czech midfielder Pavel Nedved equalised just before half time.

Alessandro Del Piero capitalised on some slack marking to put the visitors ahead in the 67th minute, only for Clarence Seedorf to restore parity less than sixty seconds later.

The Berlusconi trophy was created by Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi to honour his late father and started in 1991.

It usually takes place before the start of the season, but this time was put back due to Milan's involvement in the preliminary rounds of the Champions League and Juventus' participation in the early rounds of the Italian Cup.

Milan deservedly went ahead in the 29th minute.

Cristian Brocchi drove a low, left-wing cross into the 18-yard box and Inzaghi, who was leaning back and off balance, managed to steer a left-footed shot past Gianluigi Buffon.

Juventus equalised in the 40th minute.

Del Piero crossed for David Trezeguet whose shot was partially blocked by Milan keeper Zeljko Kalac, and Nedved pounced on the loose ball, took one touch to set himself up, and fired a right-footed shot into the net.

Del Piero's flicked header from Nedved's crossed free-kick put Juve in front, but their joy quickly vanished as Seedorf met Brocchi's centre with a firm header.

Aubameyang, who has been an unused substitute for Milan in Serie A but has never played in a match, stole the show four minutes from a time with a goal he will never forget.

Juventus are currently residing in the second division after they were relegated for match-fixing, while Milan, who were also involved in the 'Calciopoli' scandal to a lesser degree, were allowed to stay in Serie A with an eight-point handicap.

The 1991 edition of the Berlusconi trophy was contested between AC Milan and Juventus, but from 1992 to 1994 other clubs were invited to play the 'Rossoneri. Inter Milan were Milan's opponents in 1992, Real Madrid in 1993 and Bayern Munich in 1994.

In 1995 the trophy returned to a classic contest between Italy's two most successful teams and has stayed that way ever since.

Internazionale made Serie A history Saturday night with their 12th consecutive victory in the top flight, a 3-1 triumph over Torino that put them 10 points clear at the summit.

The Nerazzurri look even hotter favorites for the title and fully deserved their win, the record-breaking triumph coming against a Torino side managed by former Inter boss Alberto Zaccheroni.

Adriano headed them into a first-half lead before Stefano Fiore hit back for Toro just before the hour mark with a goal that took a wicked deflection off the chest of Inter defender Marco Materazzi.

It did not take the Nerazzurri long to wrest back control, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic putting them back ahead. Materazzi made amends by clinching the result with a late penalty, awarded for a professional foul on Adriano by goalkeeper Christian Abbiati, who was ordered off for the incident.

Inter surpassed the 11-game record set last season by Roma.

In the only other Serie A game Saturday, Empoli kicked off 2007 with a fine 2-0 win over struggling Parma.

Goals from Andrea Raggi and Davide Matteini sealed the win for the men from Tuscany against a Parma team that looks set for a long battle against relegation. The sending off of Ferdinand Coly, when the score was 1-0, completed a miserable day for Parma.

Empoli's win has moved them into a position that would be worth a UEFA Cup place at the end of the season. But manager Luigi Cagni has made it clear that the club's only objective for now is to secure their status in the top flight.

Parma have UEFA Cup distractions but, after this result, their relegation worries will only intensify.

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has played down the significance of his team's record-breaking 12-match winning streak.

The Italian champions won 3-1 at Torino on Saturday to set a new record of consecutive victories in Serie A and open up a 10-point lead at the top of the table.

But Mancini said the new benchmark would count for nothing unless the Scudetto remains in the club's trophy cabinet at the end of the season.

"This record changes nothing and the boys haven't even been speaking about it," said the Inter coach.

"Twelve league wins on the trot is an important achievement because it brings us closer to our objective, but it will be meaningless if we don't win the title."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, scorer of Inter's second goal, insisted the record had not entered the players' minds.

"We haven't given it a thought," said the Sweden international whose sublime hooked shot brought him his eighth goal of the season.

"We always try to win and it just so happens that this run has broken a record. But no team is perfect and we can always improve."

Inter equalled Roma's record of 11 straight wins -- which was set last season by the capital club -- when they beat Atalanta 2-1 in the previous round of matches.

Yet another win for Inter, who finished third last season but were handed the title after Juventus and AC Milan were found guilty of match-fixing, left them on 51 points, 10 clear of Roma who visit Messina on Sunday.

Coached by former Inter boss Alberto Zaccheroni, Torino started aggressively, showing no signs of fatigue as league action resumed in Italy after a three-week break.

But Inter hit their hosts on the break in the 24th minute.

Brazilian wingback Maicon tore down the right wing and crossed into the box for Adriano whose flicked header gave Christian Abbiati no chance.

Torino had Inter under the cosh at the start of the second half and their positive approach brought them back on level terms in the 59th minute.

Julio Cesar appeared to have Stefano Fiore's curling shot covered, but the ball struck Marco Materazzi to completely wrong-foot the Inter keeper.

The Torino fans were still on their feet when Ibrahimovic produced a moment of magic 30 seconds later, racing after Dejan Stankovic's ball and firing into the top corner from a tight angle.

Materazzi made the points safe from the penalty spot in the 85th minute after Abbiati had brought down Adriano down in the box, earning the Torino keeper a straight red card and giving his deputy, Massimo Taibi, a brief run-out.

In Saturday's early match Empoli beat relegation-threatened Parma 2-0 to stake their claim as outsiders for the fourth and final Champions League place.

صدرنشين كالچو فصل قبل 180 ميليون يورو بدهي داشت

باشگاه اينترميلان ايتاليا در فصل گذشته كالچو با نقصان مالي هنگفتي روبرو بود.



به نقل از سايت روزنامه ورزشي گازته دلو اسپرت ايتاليا، درفصل قبل فوتبال باشگاهي ايتاليا صدرنشين اين ليگ معتبر و جهاني 181ميليون يورو نقصان و بدهي مالي داشته است.

اين روزنامه در ادامه گزارش خود افزود: اعتبار ويژه اين باشگاه درفوتبال ايتاليا و اروپا و موفقيتي كه اين تيم در فصل جاري داشته، سبب شد تا بالغ بر 120 ميليون يورو از ميزان بدهي هاي اين تيم كاسته شود.

اين روزنامه همچنين به اين نكته اشاره كرده است كه اينترميلاني ها اميدوارند در ادامه فصل باشگاهي بازهم بتوانند از ميزان بدهي هاي مالي خود بكاهند.

Inter Milan's grip on the Serie A title tightened considerably after closest rivals Roma were held to a 1-1 draw at Messina.

Roma were in command after Brazilian winger Mancini had broken the deadlock with a low drive six minutes before half time.

But a series of missed chances came back to haunt them when Christian Chivu conceded an 89th-minute penalty by needlessly clattering into Arturo Di Napoli.

Alessandro Parisi tucked away the spot-kick before being sent off for a second yellow card.

A draw left Roma in second place on 42 points, nine behind Inter at the halfway stage of the season.

Reigning champions Inter had opened up a 10-point gap on Saturday by winning 3-1 at Torino for their 12th consecutive league win - a new Serie A record.

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti could not hide his disappointment at seeing his team throw away two valuable points.

"There's a certain amount of bitterness because my team performed really well and only came away with a point, and that's not enough," he said.

"The penalty was annoying, but everybody makes mistakes.

"We had enough opportunities to kill the match, but we didn't take them. On another day we would have won this match 4-0."

Palermo are four points behind Roma in third place after defeating Udinese 2-0 in Sicily.

Lazio and Catania share the fourth and final Champions league spot on 26 points, but both sides were kicking themselves after throwing away leads and ending up with disappointing results.

Lazio drew 1-1 at home to Siena and Catania lost 2-1 at Chievo.

AC Milan, hit with an eight-point penalty for match-fixing, continued their ascent with an unconvincing 3-1 home win over Reggina.

Milan surged ahead with goals from Andrea Pirlo and Clarence Seedorf before Rolando's Banchi's rasping 25-yard shot reopened the contest for the visiting Calabrians.

Reggina were enjoying their best spell of the match when Alberto Gilardino finished off a swift counter-attack with an angled shot to ease Milan's jitters.

Cristiano Doni scored twice as Atalanta thumped Livorno 5-1 in Bergamo.

The result cost Livorno coach Daniele Arrigoni his job as the Tuscany club extended their winless streak to seven matches.

"I am ashamed of this team," said Livorno president Aldo Spinelli after firing Arrigoni.

"I have not seen such a bad performance in the 22 years that I have been in football."

David Suazo's penalty secured a 1-0 win for Cagliari against bottom club Ascoli, while Sampdoria against Fiorentina ended in a goalless draw.

Empoli beat relegation-threatened Parma 2-0 on Saturday to stake their claim as outsiders for fourth place.

The president of Inter Milan and the vice president of AC Milan have been placed under investigation by an Italian magistrate probing false accounting in Serie A football, a judicial source said on Wednesday.

Milan public prosecutor Carlo Nocerino plans to summon Inter's Massimo Moratti and Milan's Adriano Galliani for questioning in the investigation into possible balance sheet irregularities, the source told Reuters.

The prosecutor is investigating whether clubs manipulated their balance sheets by inflating the prices of players they bought and sold, the source said.


In Italy, being placed under investigation does not indicate guilt and does not necessarily lead to criminal charges.

Inter Milan refused to comment on the news, although they had previously said they were confident they would be able to refute any claims of financial irregularity. AC Milan have also insisted their books are correct.

Milan's public prosecutor has questioned whether Inter could have passed the financial tests required to take part in the 2004-05 Serie A season without improperly adjusting its accounts.

Nocerino intends to hand his findings to the Italian Football Federation, which could then decide whether to open its own investigation, the judicial source said.

Last September, Rome magistrates called for the president of AS Roma, Franco Sensi, and the former president of Lazio, Sergio Cragnotti, to stand trial for false accounting. Both men denied the accusations.

Other investigations into false accounting in Italian football are under way in Genoa and Turin.

Before this afternoon’s clash with Bari at the Olimpico, Alessandro Del Piero will be honoured for the latest milestone in his career, 500 appearances in the black and white of Juventus. The club and FIAT will together present the captain with a personalised number plate and a scale model of the new Cinquecento. The presentation is just a prelude to what the captain will receive when it is officially released in mid-September: the keys to the tenth model of the new edition Cinquecento to come off the FIAT production line.

September also marks the fourteenth anniversary of a certain Foggia-Juventus (12th September 1993), a game with a special place in the history books. Not for the score-line, a straight forward 1-1 draw on the 4th day of the championship, but for the debut of a rather promising youngster, a 74th minute substitute for the afternoon’s goal scorer Fabrizio Ravanelli. It was Alessandro Del Piero’s first minute in a Juventus shirt, and the game signalled the beginning of a truly remarkable career.
Since then Alex has become the greatest of all time, smashing every possible record. He’s already the club’s record goal scorer and he now becomes only the third player in history to make 500 appearances for Juventus, edging ever closer to the records of the legendary Gaetano Scirea (552) and Beppe Furino (528 ).
