مقامات زندان مشهور اوين در شمال تهران برای نخستين بار به خبرنگاران اجازه دادند از بخش زنان اين زندان ديدن کنند.
اين بازديد در آستانه نخستين نشست شورای تازه تأسيس حقوق بشر سازمان ملل متحد صورت گرفت و وزير دادگستری ايران هدف از ايجاد چنين امکانی برای خبرنگاران را مقابله با انتقاداتی اعلام کرده که از وضعيت زندانهای ايران می شود.

به نظر می رسد بخش زنان که ما از آن بازديد کرديم بتازگی تعمير و بازسازی شده باشد.

ما نتوانستيم بدون حضور مسئولان زندان با زندانيان صحبت کنيم.

شرايط کلی بخشهای که از آن ديدن کرديم به نظر مساعد می آمد ولی نمی شد مشخص کرد که آيا با زندانيان بدرفتاری می شود يا خير.

يکی از زنان زندانی که با او صحبت کردم همين که خواست از زورگويی در داخل زندان شکايت کند، بسرعت ما را از او دور کردند.

برای اين زنان که اکثراً به دليل جرائم مالی زندانی شده اند، بتازگی درمانگاه، کلاسهای سوادآموزی، کارگاه آموزش قاليبافی و همچنين سالن ورزش احداث شده است.

پزشک درمانگاه زندان به ما گفت ظرف شش ماه گذشته فقط يک مورد خودکشی در زندان اتفاق افتاده است.

او همچنين گفت که ۳۲ نفر از زنان زندان مبتلا به ايدزند.

به زندانيان اجازه داده می شود هر روز ده دقيقه از تلفنهای عمومی نصب شده در زندان استفاده کنند و گفته شد که حدود پانصد نفر از زنهای زندان خود را برای امتحانات ورودی دانشگاه آماده می کنند تا داخل زندان به تحصيلات خود ادامه بدهند.

در هر سلول زندان بيست زن به سر می برند و برای زنانی که فرزندان کمتر از سه سال خود را در زندان نگهداری می کنند جای خاصی در نظر گرفته شده است.

بچه ها از سه سالگی به بعد به مراکز دولتی ويژه منتقل می شوند.

مقامات زندان به ما گفتند در ميان بيش از ۲۵۰۰ زندانی زن در اوين هيچ زندانی سياسی وجود ندارد و زندانيان تنها به اتهام اقدام عليه امنيت ملی نگهداری می شوند اما به ما اجازه داده نشد با چند زندانی صاحبنامی که در اوين نگهداری می شوند ملاقات کنيم.

تجمع امروز در ميدان هفت تير که به دعوت جمعی از فعالان حقوق زنان و نيروهای جامعه مدنی برگزار شده بود با برخورد خشونت آميز و وحشيانه نيروهای نظامي،انتظامی که با حضور نيروهای لباس شخصی و بسيج همراهی می شد به دستگير تعداد زيادی از حاضرين در تجمع منجر شد.حاضرين در تجمع تعداد بازداشت شدگان را بيش از 60 نفر تخمين می زنند که طبق آخرين اخبار به زندان اوين منتقل شده اند.همچنين نيروهای امنيتی صبح دوشنبه پيش از آغاز تجمع با هجوم به منزل شهلا انتصاری از فعلان حقوق زنان اقدام به بازداشت وی کرده اند که خبری از وضعيت ايشان در دسترس نيست. در آخرين اقدام از سلسله برخوردهای نيروهای امنيتی با فعالان حقوق زنان برگزارکننده برنامه، در ساعات پايانی امشب و پس از اتمام تجمع نيروهای امنيتی با حمله به منزل اين فعالان ازجمله نوشين احمدی خراساني،شهلا انتصاري، پروين اردلان و... اقدام به تفتيش نيز تخريب اموال شخصی و منزل مسکونی انان کرده اند.به نظر می رسد اين اقدام در استای ايجاد جو رعب و وحشت و نيز پرونده سازی برای فعالان مدنی صورت گرفته است.
آخرين خبرها حاکی از آن است که مادر و خواهر پروين اردلان در تجمع امروز زنان نيز به نحو وحشيانه ای بازداشت شده اند.

The peaceful women's rights protest demanding changes to family laws and legal discrimination against women, which took place between 5:00-6:00pm on June 12, 2006, in 7 th of Tir square, in Tehran, ended in extreme violence when police attacked the crowd with batons, and pepper gas. A large number of police and security forces arrived at the scene hours prior to the scheduled event in an effort to prevent the protest from taking shape. Despite this, it is estimated that several thousand protesters were dispersed throughout 7th of Tir Sqaure, which is one of the main squares of Tehran.

The female police forces brought to the scene were especially brutal in their treatment of protesters. Even small crowds were attacked and beaten violently in an effort to prevent the protesters from forming a large crowd. Besides female police, there were plain clothes security forces present at the scene. Prior to the protest, a massive campaign of harassment against those who had endorsed the protest was carried out by security forces. Scores of women were summoned to court and interrogated, including women's rights activists, student activists and webloggers, who had spread word about the protest.

In an effort to stop the protest, several prominent women's rights activists were issued summons in the middle of the night on Saturday and on the days leading up to the protest. Since then, others have been summoned for interrogation by phone or in writing. Some of these women include: Noushin Ahmadi Khorasani, Parvin Ardalan, Sussan Tahmasebi, Farnz Seify and Fariba Davoodi Mohajer, to name a few. Only Fariba Davoodi Mohajer received her summons in person. Others were not at home or at their offices when agents arrived to issue summons. Ms. Fariba Davoodi Mohajer was issued a summons in person at 11:00pm on Saturday, and subsequently spent 10 hours in interrogation on the 12th of June. She was then released on her own recognizance. Since then, she has been called in for interrogation again.

On Monday morning, the day of the protest, another endorser of the event, Shahla Entesari, a Women's Rights Activist was arrested in her place of employment. It has been reported that Ms. Entesari was released from prison on July 14th, after countless hours of interrogation. According to reports from the Minister of the Judiciary, Mr. Karimi Rad, 70 persons were arrested during the course of this protest, 42 women and 28 men. These include a large number of women's rights activists, student activists, human rights defenders, and ordinary citizens. According to unofficial reports, those arrested are being held in Evin prison. It is also reported that a small number of those arrested were released on the 13th and 14th of June. It has been reported that those arrested are being charged with actions against national security.

The names of those arrested and released are unsubstantiated. But thus far, the following persons have been reported as arrested: Delaram Ali, Women and student rights activist (reportedly freed on June 14) Jila Baniyaghoob, Women's rights activist and journalist Taraneh Bani Yaghoob, Women's rights activist and journalist (reportedly released on June 14) Farahnaz Sharifi, Women's rights activist and film-maker Bahmane Ahmadi Amouie, Author Shahla Entesari, Women's Rights Activist (Arrested the morning of the protest and reportedly released on June 14th.) Nasim Soltan Beigi, Women's Rights Activist Student rights activists reported as arrested, include:

-- Siamak Taheri, Journalist (reportedly released on June 14)
-- Leila Mohsenizadeh, Amir Kabir University Student Activist

The violent dispersal of peaceful protesters and the arrests that ensued is in direct violation of the Iranian constitution which guarantees freedom of assembly and peaceful protest. Furthermore, the violent treatment of these peaceful protesters by police is in direct violation of Article 19 of Universal Declaration on Human Rights, which guarantees freedom of speech and assembly and to which Iran is a signatory.

It should be noted that despite the unprecedented pressure placed on student groups in recent months, they turned out in full support of the women's protest. Mr. Ali Akbar Mousavi Khoini, Head of the Alumni Organization of Iran, and a well known human rights advocate, was violently beaten while being taken into custody. Later in prison, after refusing to put on a prison uniform and objecting to illegal arrests of protester, he was beaten further. It is reported that he has suffered extreme injuries due to these beatings.

This protest was planned by a broad coalition of women's rights activists. In fear of reprisal, no Iranian NGOs sponsored the event. Instead a large number of individuals spontaneously spread word about the protest. Nearly 2000 signatures were collected in support of the protest. Over 50 international organizations expressed their support for women's rights activists in Iran and their protest, including several leading international women's rights organizations and human rights organizations.

Last year, on the 22nd of Khordad (June 12th), a broad coalition of women and women's groups organized a similar protest demanding equal rights under the law. This event was held in front of Tehran University and drew 1000s of protesters. Last year, these women promised to continue to push for their demands, if the government was unresponsive. Many of them were subsequently called in for interrogation and their organizations were pressured and threatened.

Despite the violence they faced, women's rights activists in Iran will continue to press for their rights and changes to Iran's legal code, in the hopes of ending all forms of legal discrimination against women. We urge the international community to press Iranian officials for an immediate release of those detained and to stop its harassment of women's rights activists, human rights defenders and their organizations. We also urge the international community to press the Iranian officials to end all forms of legal discrimination against women.

بنابراين، حتى اگر محافظه كارى كانت درفلسفه سياسى پذيرفته شود،هرگزنمى تواند توجيه كننده برخورد او با زنان باشد.



در فلسفه سياسى كانت، ترفيع روش هاى محتمل به مقام نيازهاى عقل، بيانگر انكار قاطع اين امر از سوى كانت است كه هر چيز بجز وضعيت موجود ممكن است امكان پذير باشد و اين مسأله با توسل جستن به خرد توجيه مى شود.

در بحث ديدگاه كانت درباره تساوى زنان، اشاره شد كه كانت نظراتى متناقض دارد: از يك سو، معتقد است كه زن و مرد به طور طبيعى باهم برابرند و در عين حال، زن بايد حق تساوى طبيعى خود را براى منافع مشترك خانواده انكار كند. از سوى ديگر، بر اين باور است كه زن و مرد به طور طبيعى يكسان نيستند; طبيعت منحصر به فرد زن تقسيم متساوى اختيار و قدرت را غيرمقتضى و نامناسب مى سازد.

اين مشكل بزرگ و عميقى براى كانت و عقيده فردگرايى ـ به طور اعم ـ و فردگرايى زن گرايانه به طور اخص ـ است. كيرد (Caird) اين موضوع را با اشاره خاصى نسبت به فلسفه كانت ابراز كرده، مى گويد: در تميز ميان ازدواج تك همسرى از پيوند آزاد، كانت به وحدتى اجتماعى ميان دو نفر اشاره مى كند و اين نكته با نظر اصلى او درباره حق، كاملاً در تناقض است:



همه نظريه هاى فردگرايى با چنين مشكلى روبه رو هستند. بنابراين، انتخاب بين فردگرايى و تجزيه و تحليل خانواده، خواه ناخواه مطرح مى شود; خانواده اى كه يك واحد منفرد است و شوهر در رأس آن قرار دارد و از قدرت تصميم گيرى برخوردار است.

خانم اليزابت ولگاستزن و شوهر افراد متفاوتى هستند، با اراده هاى جداگانه. ممكن است اين طور تصور شود كه در موقع تصميم گيرى نهايى، آن ها نهاد كوچكى را تشكيل داده اند و اين نهاد به شيوه خود تصميماتى اتخاذ مى كند كه اعضاى آن مشتركاً مسؤوليت اين تصميمات را بر عهده دارند. با اين وجود، اين نمونه با الگوى ذرّه گرايى در تضاد خواهد بود; زيرا از نقطه نظر ديدگاه اجتماعى، طرفين موردنظر نه افراد كاملا مجزا و نه يكى در كل به حساب مى آيند. ساده تر بگوييم كه شوهر معرّف هر دو خواهد بود و اين در خدمت خصايص سطحى ذرّه گرايى است. رئيس خانواده مثل يك شخص مجرّدسخنگوى يك واحد ذرّه گانى محسوب مى شود.34

احيای حقوق مدنی و حق شهروندی زنان تکيه گاه مادی مهمی برای رشد و گسترش جنبش زنان است. با اين حال جنبش زنان نيز مانند ساير جنبش های اعتراضی, مبارزه مدنی خود را اکنون در شرايط ويژه ای به پيش می برد: از يک سو رژيمی بی نهايت وحشی و سرکوبگر که اجازه طرح علنی ابتدايی ترين خواست های مدنی به شيوه مسالمت آميز را نمی دهد؛ در برخورد امنيتی و سرکوب و ايجاد اختلاف و پرونده سازی, در شکار فعالين و هدايت گران اصلی جنبش های اعتراضی و بی سر کردن جنبش ها و منحرف کردن مسير حرکت جنبش های سر بريده شده, در تعيين ميدان بازی از طريق زمينه سازی برای کشاندن معترضان به اعتراضات علنی پيش رس, در محاصره مکارانه و قطع ارتباط فعالين با لايه های گسترده ناراضيان و در کاربست همزمان ترکيبی از مجموعه اين ترفندها از مهارت بالايی برخوردار است, از سوی ديگر سازماندهی يک "انقلاب مخملی" در کنار "گزينه هايی" چون تجزيه ايران, تحريم اقتصادی ايران, و حمله نظامی به ايران يکی از "گزينه های" آمريکاست. آمريکا همزمان در زمينه همه اين "گزينه های" خود مشغول سازماندهی و برنامه ريزی است. سرقت جريان هدايت جنبش های اعتراضی از طريق چهره سازی برای اين جنبش ها و نشاندن "چهره ها" بر بالای جنبش ها به بهانه حمايت از آزادی و دموکراسی در ايران حلقه اصلی در سناريوی انقلاب مخملی هدايت شده است تا از اين طريق به شکلی حدالامکان نامشهود و ظاهرا "طبيعی" جنبش های سر بريده شده توسط ارتجاع حاکم را صاحب سرهای جديد کند.

جنبش های اعتراضی ايران که همزمان در معرض خطر سرکوب از درون و سرقت از بيرون از سوی دو دشمن اصلی آزادی و عدالت اجتماعی قرار دارند, با سمت گيری به سوی اعماق و تکيه بر سازماندهی قشرهای محروم تر مردم, با حرکت بر مدار مطالبات پايه ای و بی واسطه خود و با ترجيح شيوه های هدايت جمعی بر رهبری فردی تا هر جا که واقعا ممکن است, با تاکيد بر تنوع خواست ها و مطالبات و استقلال عمل خود, می توانند در برابر اين دو دشمن و طرح های آنها از موجوديت و شرايط رشد طبيعی خود دفاع کنند.
البته بايد آشکارا گفت و نوشت که هيچ معجون ويژه ای که با سرکشيدن آن بتوان جنبش های اعتراضی را از خطر افتادن به دام توطئه های دائمی دو دشمن ياد شده مردم ايران برای هميشه مصون داشت وجود ندارد و اين واقعيت را فعالين اين جنبش ها و دمکرات ها و آزاديخواهانی که زير ضرب ارتجاع در شرايط سرکوب و خفقان و توطئه های دايم دو طرف در شرايطی طاقت فرسا مبارزه می کنند, بهتر از همه می دانند. به همين جهت است که آنها هميشه به طور مشخص خود را ناگزير می بينند که قبل از شروع هر حرکت اعتراضی نخست به نيروهای شرکت کننده در آن, ترکيب نيروها و بويژه "چهره ها"ی شرکت کننده, پيشينه آنها, جايگاه هدايتی و حمايتی هر يک از نيروهای مورد نظر و بويژه "چهرها", شبکه حاميان اصلی و فرعی آنها در داخل و خارج, قدرت بسيج نيروی آنها, آتشبار تبليغاتی آن ها, نوع و نحوه طرح شعارها و خواست ها و مهم تر از همه نقشه ای که برای تداوم حرکت مورد نظر کشيده اند, به دقت توجه کنند و بر بستر توجه به اين مجموعه تعيين کنند که مثلا در حرکت اعتراضی معينی بدون پيش شرط شرکت کنند يا مستقلا شرکت کنند يا ضمن افشای طرح ها و شيوه های بخش ديگری از معترضان شرکت کنند و يا اصلا شرکت نکنند. اين فعالين از اين طريق, تلاش می کنند که حمايت و حضور موثرشان در هر جنبش اعتراضی عليه نظم سرکوبگرانه و فاشيستی موجود به وسيله ای برای افتادن آنها به دام طراحان يک نظم سرکوبگرانه جديد تبديل نشود و در مبارزه با نيروهای سياه موجود, بدون تضعيف اين مبارزه به نيروهای سياه ديگر امکان موج سواری ندهند.
البته نبايد بدبين بود, جنبش های اعتراضی ايران با پيش زمينه تجربه تلخ سرقت انقلاب بهمن توسط خمينی شياد و دستگاه روحانيت او حرکت می کنند و پديده زايش ارتجاع از زهدان انقلابهای سياسی پاره وار و ناکام را می شناسند. اين آگاهی تاريخی عامل مهمی است که هم ادامه, گسترش و تقويت اعتراض عليه ارتجاع مذهبی حاکم و هم پرش از دامچاله "مخملی ها" را می تواند مقدور و ميسر سازد.

The three girls walked into Golestan Mall. They were pretty, real pretty, tight jeans, tight smocks covering tight shirts with tight roosaris barely covering long beautiful hair. One stood out more than the other two, a spitting image of Charlize Theron. Charlize really is a brunette right?

They walked and smiled and talked and giggled and glided gorgeously across the white shiny marble floor of the mall.

Outside a white police car with the words "Ershad" (orthodoxy) pulled up to the curb.

Out stepped a fat officer, gestapo styled cap cocked sleazily to a slight angle. He had a scowl on his face already. He waddled and followed the girls immediately. He pulled up behind them, quickened his pace until he was alongside them, and barked, "Khanoum Een Cheh Vaazesheh!" (Miss, What's all this then?)

Charlize turned around, and said "What?"

"Your clothes and appearance are improper," he barked again.

"What? You want to arrest me because I'm beautiful?" Charlize said angrier.

"What can I do? I'm beautiful! That's just the way it is! There's nothing anyone can do about it." Charlize snapped as she leaned in towards him.

He backed away. By law he was forbidden to touch her. She knew this. "Right, let's go!" he snapped back, having had enough of her tone.

"I'm not going anywhere!" she said even more defiantly. Her friends began pleading with the officer to let their friend go. A crowd began to gather around them as their voices rose up at each other in anger.

Seeing this, he immediately reached for his walkie talkie and ordered backup. Less than a few minutes passed and two black chador-clad women arrived with badges on their bosomless chests, black scarves tightly wrapped around their plain un made-up scowling faces. Fati-Commando, as they were known.

They could put their hands on other women, and were the thugs called in whenever a woman was acting up.

They grabbed Charlize and her friends, and began pulling them to a holding center erected inside the mall especially for these kinds of detentions.

The girls began screaming and by now almost fifty people, mostly men had gathered around the commotion. The officer looked around him, and started to worry about the crowd, Charlize sensing the opportunity, suddenly bolted from the grasp of the two Fatis, who afraid of losing her friends, let her slip through.

The officer ran after Charlize who had made a wrong turn and found herself cornered in one of the arteries of the mall. The crowd grew and followed. Charlize began screaming her lungs out, and the crowd grew even more, now restless.

Because she had run away from them, she had now broken the law and now any officer could grab hold of her, which he did, and dragged her kicking and screaming, slapping him hard, trying to scratch his face with her long lovely nails.

As he dragged her through the crowd towards the detention center, the crowd had now grown to around a hundred, and gathered completely around them, and murmurs and groaning could be heard as people watched the helpless girls. At that moment, Charlize sat down on the floor. The two Fatis, who had now put away her friends, began to lift and grab Charlize, trying to force her into the makeshift cell. Meanwhile the officer turned to the crowd and yelled at them to keep back.

Another opportunity came. Charlize took it. As the officer pushed the crowd back, a small opening appeared between the legs of the by standers, and through that gap Charlize bolted again.

This time as she ran past, people in the mall helped her and guided her away from the officer who was hot on her heels. As she ran past the crowd, the men side stepped her and moved out of the way. She ran towards two older ladies dressed in full elegant roosaris, and as she passed by them, they moved themselves bravely directly into the path of the officer just as he came up on them. Instead of stopping though, he lowered his shoulder and charged head on into the two ladies, almost knocking them off their feet.

Infuriated now, the crowd immediately launched into a long and loud "Ho!" (boo) . People began yelling at the officer. "What's the meaning of this?" "Leave her alone!" "You should be ashamed of yourself!"

Sensing the rising hostility of the crowd, the officer picked himself up, straightened his cap, turned around, and LEFT!

Meanwhile, on the street in front of the mall, Charlize ran full speed, right down the middle of the road, her roosari long ago lost in her escape, her beautiful long silky dark hair flying bravely in the wind behind her as she sprinted away.
